Blue 1102 eq v2

There is a new version of 1102 now up! V2

This eq is inspired by the module originally found in the 8*68 console. It has the characteristics of a 1*73 with added frequencies in the High band and a added High-Q mid range. The character is broad, making it a great general mixing eq. Classic curves and huge tone, the sound of a classic!

As in all samplings we used a proper designed (Raw State) power supply, this affects the sound of the unit, giving a better sense of space and detail. These modules originally have no line input when used by themselves. Sampling this unit was achieved by modifying the unit, this enabled us to create a proper line input. I’ve insured minimal ringing on samples to achieve ultimate punch and clarity!

The new version cuts cpu, loading times and space. It also isolates Pre(select 2) High shelf and filters. It also features a new distorter/clipper.

Features-

-Dynamically sampled low shelf, 33, 60, 110, 220. Lower cpu version available
-Mid band, 350, 700, 1600, 2700, 3200, 4800, 7200 hz with Hq selector
-Band Isolated Combined Filters: High pass- 45, 70, 160 and 360hz,Lowpass- 18, 14, 10, 8 and 6khz
-Band Isolated High shelf.
-No chirp pre, with two settings
-Distortion instance to get that pushed sound which is more intense on low frequency's, this will be more obvious on bass drums for example (note-this will work better on louder peaks, it's been tuned to be more subtle)
-Sample rates 44.1, 48 , 88.2 and 96khz
-N4 and N3 JPN skins

If you bought before you get the new version free. There is a discount code up for new purchases of 1102- Discount code TEN-OFF-1102 , This will take the price down to £22, a bargain imo! This will last until further notice

At the checkout there is VAT added so it's £26.40, is that right?

Hi Tim, any chance of any audio demos please? Say on a clean drum loop or something to show distortion and EQ examples?
Cheers!

Yup this is superb. Love that distortion. And paired with Cup's 2254 I had vocal heaven. (Also ran the vox bus through L bus too...)

Yes! I'd love to hear the distortion too.
Especially before the price changes again.
Any chance of this, Tim?

I´ve already bought it, the pre and dist are amazing!!! Tim pre and dist are sampled from the original line pre from the eq?? Pre and dist together work very similar like pushing the input of a great console, I was missing this in the box for a long time. I have always thought that a bit part of the classic sound analog sound comes from tape and pushing the input of a great console....
