Tim, I am assuming this power expansion can be used after any guitar pre software, clean or dirty, like your color pre, etc? Thanks!

I love that lib, it sounds amazing, very real. I got it years ago and it has been very useful. Also I have been using exactly that amp and it has that vibe, yes!

Anyway, about speaker responses, which ones you recommend?

I know there are a few around for nebula, for the era of amp and you want to be authentic, you want to be looking for celestion, fane, goodmans speaker impulses. Although I have not seen any goodmans or fanes, possibly someone has made some. I'm sure there are plenty of celestion speakers, I particular I would say g12 and g12m are in the right ballpark

Thanks again, Tim.

I remember ownhammer did speakers impulses and they are so good but they include a giant collection of variations about different mics and positions so I find it is too much messy to dial. Apart from this I don’t know other recommended sources. I would thank if anyone could let me know about other good speakers IRs.

I want to repeat that this is a great library, I know well the original amp(a brittish number one, if not the best, in early 60s scene at UK) and this is a very good recreation of it. Congratulations, you do great things, my friend

Don't want to threadjack, but I have a couple guitar cab libraries that I gave away a few years back. They're not up to OwnHammer's quality (I assume, don't own any of his libraries unfortunately), but the JCab is a 4x12 with G12's.

There were also more free cabinets released. There are some in Henry Olonga's All You Can Eat bundle. Aeternuseternus, Erectus, and Kalthaleen (probably spelled that wrong) also had free and highly comprehensive libraries.

Rosen do some nice guitar cabinet I.R's too. they also do a free I.R. loader to use them with. Put them after the Nebula instances and it really brings this to life for guitars............

Just a heads up-

I know in most cases users will use this for a mono use however
Important-
When using in stereo/bus applications, you should use a instance either side. use a program like meta plugin.

this only really applies to the distorter

So when using just the one instance of the eq in a stereo signal it should remain stereo on the mix bus? But when using the distorter instance on a stereo signal it will convert it to mono signal?

without getting into to much detail the distorter needs a left and right instance because of the nature of nebula. It won't convert anything into mono but it the distortion functions in mono,in other words Nebula's functions work in mono. If your signal is exactly the same both sides it will work fine.

The signal could be like this for a stereo bus application.

Eq nebula instance> metaplugin or similar (instance of distorter for Left and right)

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a metaplugin?

"I put this on gearslutz as a demonstration of the distorter-

Just got around to this-

So the guitars are

scs distort >Kalthllen cabs nebula program . Middle guitar has a bit of Mellow echo on it and filtered b n2065 filter.

thats it.

I did my best Page/angus young impression  . Thought it was suitable for the type of distortion
