The Envelope follower is looking at both sides L-r but it will activate both sides by the same amount on samples. The L-r version still take into account of small fluctuations difference either side.
This is not a issue for stereo compression but if you want the effect of dual mono, each side working independently you'll need 1 instances per side.

Ok got it :) Thanks!

I just installed Nebula 3 again to try this comp because I'm a fan of the E/G bus comp and man, Tim never disappoints. It pretty much spot on with the hardware, almost indistinguishable.

Amazing job, Tim.

in an rather empty arrangement with all 8 cores almost down to zero and max buffer size at 8k - i cant open ONE instance of the pre and the comp? usually i can open up to 50 nebula instances at least.

This has been my experience as well, and has kept me from experimenting much with this library.

weird ... its not really useable like this. although i feel that logic isnt the best DAW for nebula usage. i once tested the performance in logic, ableton and reaper and it was absolutely shocking how well reaper handled it against the other two. like 10 times better.

Ok.....

Just seen this. In terms of cpu I can make one's that are lower cpu. Buy reducing the prog rate but not by loads and smoothing I can get about 3.4 times lower cpu, this will slightly effect the fastest attack setting by approx 95 micro seconds at 44.1khz and 75 micro seconds at 48khz , you could just use the ahead for that setting. I'm testing for the lowest artifact way of doing this. It's similar to the old tip I gave here viewtopic.php?f=11&t=26085&hilit=sweet+spot+for+dynamic which seemed to become a standard for comps.
It will take a few days. By the way buffer may not have a effect on these programs because of them being fast prog rate through timed engine.

Perhaps you can send me your spec Mr. H*******.

hi tim. will you add new program and/or vector files or replace the old ones? i haven't had this issue and would prefer to not download the update if it replaces the current version.

No I’ll just make extra programs. The originals will not be replaced.
