If you send me a message with your details I can assist. I think possibly I have emailed you back already.

Just downloaded.
I see most U76 v3 programs have 346 samples,it burns my CPU at 96kHz.
How about ECO version with 175 samples only like in "ratio all" program?

Hi Tim,

Is U76 based on 6176? Or UA 1176 reissue? Or vintage 1176LN Blackface?

Best,

Originally based on the mordern version, v3 envelope follower based on LN. Preamp is more linear than a vintage unit. all in all It's not based on a vintage unit. :)

Opto 3a was based on a vintage unit

Hi Tim,

Yes please, a compression guide based on the units you've sampled and released would be an asset. Your emulations are second-to none. They're all over my tracks, especially on the 2-bus.

As you can see from my signature, I have almost all the Acquas and some actual analog hardware. Your processors, in particular your compressors, are in their own league. Incredible work!
Amber, Aquamarine, Azure, Black, Blue, Coral, D361, Diamond, Ebony, Emerald, EQP1, Gold, Green, Honey, Ivory, Lime, Magenta, Navy, Nebula, N4, Ochre, Orange, Pearl, Pink, Pink Compressors, Prime, Purple, Red, Rose, Sand, Scarlet, Silk, Tan, Titanium, Trinity, Ultramarine, White. Hardware: TLA M8 Tubetracker, Vulture Super15, Fatso, Tube Vitalizer. Apogee Symphony. N*****n KH310 monitors + KH805 sub.

I would say you have to be called Tim to make a good software compressor...

I was thinking I could give some info on each of these -Opto 3a, TNT limiter, n60a, u76 in the way they behave with music and may well help on making decisions on different instruments. Each of those are so different and good for different styles of compression. I could make a little blog post on my site. :?:

There's no need to (G)drive the preamp program?
