+1 on the PCS update. :D If these preamps can sound as good as the 4K console I can see another mix improvement on the horizon.

I saw that you pulled the trigger. You won't regret it! But as a side note, MFC was the first console released using AlexB's new sampling techniques, so I'm pretty sure it was considered the "first" V2 release. As such, I don't think it will be getting a "second" V2 release, if you know what I mean.

As RJ pointed out, definitely consider the A*P*I console as well, as A*P*I's tend to push things forward in a different (and as I see it, leaner) way than S*S*L's do. Personally, I prefer the S*S*L in nearly all cases, but the A*P*I sound can be desirable in plenty of situations.

I'm VERY excited about these 2 releases, but more excited for TSX than anything else. The DTE library is straight voodoo on the master buss!

Dumb question, but you have your RATECNV parameter set to the maximum right?

Libraries are sampled at 96kHz and 44.1kHz, if you use other sample rate than you hear the SRC conversion by Nebula. I suggest to work at 96kHz or at 44.1kHz... No advantage to use other sample rate.

Also, check if your xml has been modified for "tricks" that I don't reccomend...

There is advantage to use other sample rate.
At 88.2 my computer can handle 25 stereo channels with 4K console Line In and Master Bus.
At 96 kHz only 20 stereo channels
