the hpf in these and other compressors are an internal sidechain tool which allows the low end to pass through the compressor unaffected.

I know what it is.
I want to know at what freq. does the low en start flubbing out if it suffers from the low end issues of the past.

I've not heard it 'flub out' ... yet.

The internal side-chain HPF is sweepable [variable].

The 'flub' issue might well depend on the nature of the low freq being question. At this early stage of my evaluation, I've not encountered any strange artifacts.
