VSTi Sources ONLY _ Huge 3rd Party List is Tough !

Post by KrazyKat46 » Wed Oct 21, 2015 7:09 pm

Remarkable choices for BASIC 3rd party emulations. NEVER do live Drum, Guitar, Bass recordings or mixes. Komplete10, Spectrasonics, IvoryII, VSL tracks. Very limited Vocals and can deal with later.

How can I make INITIAL, appropriate EQ, Compressor, Reverb, other? selections for Master and Buss use?

Will surely test on VSTi tracks, but good set of 'internal' FX within these sources.

Recommendation list is great, but also advice as to methodology for my later choices. Example: A5A, A5B, A5M, ACQ560 Demos Loaded in Neb 3FREE. No clue how to sort ...

Hi Kat,

My recommendation to start out nebpro programs would be Alexb Modern Flagship Console Series. It is based on a modern British desk and has a console program (MFC),Eq (MFQ) and Dynamics(MFD). The American Series are great if you want that sound but I feel the flagship is more versatile. Choice also depends on source material, style ...etc. What style(s) do you do? It might help others make suitable suggestions.

Much appreciated suggestion. Have access to MFQ & MFD Demos. Will focus on them for now with eye to adding MFC as a solid basis to start.

Background is light classical, pop and jazz piano, migrating to keyboards. Current detour to modern dance including EDM.
Working on Mixes from multi synths, Stylus RMX & Jamstix3 Drums/Perc.
