Re: n2065 v2 now available!!!
I use this library in every one of my projects on multiple tracks. This is a great filter and I'm excited for an updated version. Thank you, Tim, updating this great product.
Tim, how do v1 owners get the v2 version? When I look in my account area and look at my purchase history, I don't see the v2 version in any of my previous purchases.

Just want to say how great these are - they are my 'go to' filters for LP

This new update is excellent! I used it on almost every tracks and some busses to clean them up. The LP filters are really sweet. I use this instead of tape programs when I need some more high cuts.
This is a new song I just finished mixing using the new n2064 on most of the tracks. also used Tim's new BluMu on master bus

Just wanted to add my 10 cents
love these N*v* filters, really nice, both low pass and high pass and really handy to have both filters on 1 instance of nebula, so i can low pass and high pass a source if necessary without needing more than 1 instance of Neb
Thanks Tim!
Looking forward to V2 on your other filters!

@ sfabs and pleplo:
Hi! I'm demoing Honey EQ and like it a lot 'cause I can place this on many tracks and use HP filters and get a good sound quite fast.
BUT, I have a lot of Nebula EQs already, Nebula console emulations etc and have noticed that both of you praise the Nxxe filters from TimP. My plan is to purchase n2065 and use them on all tracks to clean up and then put some of my Aqua/Nebula EQs on different tracks. In short: I'll try this combination rather than cash out for Honey now.(try using what I have instead of always purchase new expensive things...!).
I reckon that n2065 don't demand so much CPU so it's no problem using this on a bunch of tracks?
Just a "newbie" question: I'm familiar with using HP filters, but when / or on what tracks do you use Low Pass? I can think of using Low Pass on background vocals to push them a bit in the background, and perhaps guitars - especially el-guitars to achieve the same thing. There is a lot of talk about High Pass filters (cleaning up the low end etc) - but hardly any info about when mixers use Low Pass AFAIK...!
Any comments?!

Re: n2065 v2 now available!!!
I use lowpass on bass and guitars mainly to avoid hiss and keep them out of the way of the overheads and vocals.
Re: n2065 v2 now available!!!
It is also to create depth and contrast for instruments. not all instruments needs to be in your face and bright. try to make the vocals shine, overheads, cymbals and something else and the rest try to filter them a bit more. it will make the mix shine.. good to use on fizzy electric guitars, vocals too sometimes are too bright .if you want that vintage tape vibe low passing is nice.
hope that helps
