160A COMPRESSOR Collection Now Released from CDS !!!

Post by cdsoundmaster » Wed Dec 11, 2013 12:53 pm

We are pleased to announce:
The 160A Compressor Collection for Nebula Pro !!!

CDS is pleased to announce the long-awaited, remarkably accurate 160A Compressor!

Programs are created at pre-edited levels that match perfectly to the same levels and compression depth as the original hardware.

You will be amazed at the accuracy of this compressor.
For the absolute authenticity, use the 160A Preamp Collection after an instance of the Compressor to add the layered spectral harmonic response on top of the full compression of this Nebula Pro collection

From now through Wednesday, December 18 2013, we are offering the
"160A Compressor Collection For Nebula Pro" for only $29 !!!

Hi Swan,

Sure, but the purpose of the audio demo is to compare the hardware compression to the software compression- I can play the dry drum as well- I mixed them myself without comp first- just didn't include dry bc comparing how exact the compression compares to the hardware.

So in the audio demo, before means before nebulized, after means after nebulized?

As a response is very very close but i always prefer the tone of the hardware in the sound examples

ah...ok can I clarify - the 'before' means 'hardware' and 'after' is the 'Nebula' processing?

Yes it would still be good to hear the dry to see how much compression etc...

Hi there,

Here is the original dry mix of the same loop:

http://tubegetter.com/160COMP/BEFORE-DRY(96000 Hz).zip

The "Before" in the comparison files is the hardware.
The "After" in the comparison files is the software.

Please look at the graphs on the site as well- I've never seen a closer match to a hardware compressor- algo or sampled.

If you've been searching for "that" D*x vca sound, it doesn't get any closer. :-)
