I think that we must let here a links with the manuals of AITB products for everybody can download it ´cause the page not exist already, in this post or in other specific only with the links of the manuals.

guys, anyone have news about availability of unprotected versions for customers or how to reach Niklas?
i need to reinstall stuff after formatting and i was using heavily the AITB stuff on the last projects i was developing before my pc going belly up..
i just sent an email to support email address and it seems like it just bounced back...so at the moment i m kinda stuck ...
Please Niklas , let us have a way to use our libraries without C/R hassle when possible!

Thanx in advance

never mind, didnt realize that the customers login was still active...
anyway, still wouldnt hurt at all having the libraries without protection to avoid unpleasant surprises like "whoa, when did the site go offline?" in the future..hopefully though , since i see Niklas has always been very caring about customers so far in my experience, he will provide the unprotected versions in some while and warn us if eventually the site is about disappearing..
my 2 cents, anyway

my re authorisations didn't work on my new machine and it said I'd run out of Authorisations when I treied to re do it.

I emailed for new ones but that was over 2 weeks ago and no reply.

I have been trying to open an old project for a client and it contains lots of AITB nebulas that are now not there.

This is not a good scenario.

That's unfortunate. To completely drop the product support while keeping authorization requirements indefinitely active is not cool.

Can any Acustica person comment on if there has been any movement toward keeping the AITB products useable in situations like this?

I read excellent reviews about every Nebula EQ. Some to look at include Tim's Silk EQ:

http://www.timpetherick.co.uk/silk-eq-295b/

and his ECL24 v2:

http://www.timpetherick.co.uk/elc24-v2/

but there are many, many excellent EQ's to choose from.

Not a very good idea, but....
Just imagine that the same thing happens with AA this time.
Even if Nebula is a wonderful tool, it's still software and the company (only one developer in that case) may close without any warning.
This sad story made me think about my tools. Now, I try not to count only on Nebula : different plugs brands and hardware.

I really hope that AITB will come back soon to help us to use these programs on our new machines.

All the best to all of you.
François

Well it was AITB who brought up the matter of a transition of some kind; not sure where we stand on that now but it has been quiet for almost 60 days now. If AITB is just gone and my current installation is the last install I'll ever get of those products so be it; but I hope other devs will take note here when people like me (who buy a lot of libraries) say "I will never buy another copy protected Nebula library" because of this. I realize there's a lot to lose and pirates are everywhere but frankly that's just not my top concern once I've crossed the threshold into "paying customer" land. AITB would have been the last dev I would have expected to drop off so if it can happen to them it can happen to anyone else as far as I'm concerned.

This is what i was worried about when AITB vanished. I am not worried about Acustica, necessarily, but I AM worried about the confidence of the users and their ability to work.

Maybe I'm missing some, but here are the primary devs that I know of:

AlexB
Henry O
CDSM
TimP
Cupwise
Gemini
Ownhammer
VNXT
STN/Rhythminmind

And (from what I've read) Gene Lennon's wonderful verb library.

Not as many developers as I thought when I joined the Nebulaverse. While many/most of those listed above are active, some haven't released anything new in some time.

I have to wonder how many more devs we would see if/when NAT is released for the Mac. I would sample my brains out if NAT OS X was available, but I'm not sure if my Apollo AD/DA would be 'good enough' for a public/community release.

the best nebula reverb libraries ever are definitely made by aitb. top pro style and flexible stuff and I have no idea why the user reactions after the latest reverb releases was so small. a lot users are buying every stuff but the good is ignored (and the aitb authorisation was never a problem (till now?)). sorry, my opinion about that. I hope so much aitb will find a solution for their existing customers (like they wrote on the aitb site). I have a huge problem if not.
Gene Lennon stuff is nice but to much personal adjustments for a reverb for me.

yo richie, dont be worried about any thing. people will move / change from time to time. without confidence in his own.?!.
I´m more worried about why people need every plugin, every sound library, every effect tool or yes every nebula library. in real time (hardware studio) no one is buying every thing. how much people are using all this stuff in final? yes it´s good (in nebula world) to support all the developers but is this the solution to make better music?
to record and to mix? if users dont understand the possibilities of nebula, dont be worried about that. I have my problems too with the limitations of nebula but there is no alternative. if nikklas will find a solution for the customers I´m cool with the whole situation.
Dont worry, be happy.

If you are a programmer, how can you pirate any software? That's hypocritical and rude. Whether they are a big or small company, stealing is stealing. And once you ok theft of any dev, the lines are blurred. And as far as AITB is concerned, how are you sure that they are not in communication with other devs to make their libraries available another way? Don't encourage people to go find cracked Nebula libraries, that only leads to more links to more cracks...... you idiot.
