The Jcab is a well-known and used 4x12" closed-back cabinet from a popular British amplifier company. This one can harken back from old-school rock to thrash metal (although it does MUCH more, those are the common uses). A punchy bass, cutting midrange, and a sharp (but not harsh) top end are what you can expect out of this set of programs.

The programs included are as follows:

JCab 1a-1e - SM57
JCab 2a-2e - i5
JCab 3a-3e - U87
JCab 3f-3g - U87 Room mic
JCab SUBa-SUBb - 2 different Homemade Subkicks

In each mic catagory, there are several letters indicating the position of the mic. Generally, "A" will be the brightest and each following letter will sound darker as "B", "C", and "D" are far, farther and farthest from the speaker cone respectively. These are the postions of the 1,2, and 3 mics.

a - Center
b - Where the Cone meets the Edge
c - Between the Cone and the Edge
d - Edge
e - 1.5' back

* The ROOM mics (3f & 3g) are as follows: Both room mics are from 3 or 4 feet back. 3f is aiming more directly at the cab and speakers while 3g is more off-axis. The room is quite dead, so do not expect too much reverb or reflections in the tone.

* The subkick positions are both roughly 4 inches in front of the speaker with the A program being a 10" guitar combo and the B program being a 8" speaker on a stand in no housing. Both pick up unique resonances in the cab that, while sounding flubby on their own, can greatly thicken up your tone when blended in parallel with one of the other programs.,

Yes sir, in the readme file included in the download :)

Essentially, the NUMBER corresponds to which mic is being used while the following LETTER is the micing position. The micing positions are constant except for the subkick mics, they really only needed to be made once

Thank you, jpn! I use your skins every time I open Nebula.
I will certainly test this one. Hopefully, I can stay awake to try this skin and the botus99's cabinet program (s)...
