I add a delay plug in front of the nebula instance with the wet /dry knob turned to 100% wet. then i experiment from there. anyone else?

I employ a similar technique. I sometimes put the delay after and I add slight chorus before the reverb too. The great thing about audio is that there are no rules with one exception, if it sounds right its right.

Another thing I do is use the regular nebula program with the real room reverb preset and that gives me the front of the reverb and cuts the tail. This is nice cause I use it as early reflections which adds space to instruments without the wash. In this way I usually put it directly on the instrument and then blend the dry and wet sliders.

I briefly make mention of this in a post on my website. http://rugunation.com/blog/
