I have the hardware. It's not amazing. Rather have a 100 watt Marshall head. That said it could still be useful.

I know I know, but it could be useful in some context like production tool: bass audio treatment, some guitars (industrial metal/ nu-metal sound, etc...), ... and it´s better than the amp simulators software anyway.

It´s a good hardware in my opinion, and if it´ll work with Nebula tubes/ cabs at the same time with a correct use I think that we could get a interesting guitar sound.

i also have the hardware and think it's amazing...with the right head and cabinet. i mostly use it for metal tones.

that being said, i'm not sure i'd be interested in a neb library. would be interesting though.

regards,
marco

Agreed. It's still plugged in my guitar stomp box cable chain. Been awhile. I will spend some time loving/exploring it again this next few days. Metal.. I do remember it was my magic bullet long ago for that "indie" guitar sound. Versatile I guess.

I looked in the toybox and also found an old roland GR-20 guitar synth and an Audio Logic 660 2 channel compressor. Guess I'll goof of tonight and play with them, although I remember the 660 squashes the shit out of everything, but that was then and this is now. The roland GR-20 was cool. I could play ripping sax riffs on my les paul. :D

'nite.

You could apply it with other plug. It´s very common of use in amps emulations of Nebula like these:

Thank you for your answer.

I already own the big amp, and I know this use.

It sounds good, but :

- it does not sound as good as a real amp, or a Nebula library of the amp
- why make Sansamp presets for Nebula if we can not do distortion ? The PSA-1 is not very well-known for clean sounds.

I said before that it could be very useful like production tool in some context. It´s very used in bass audio treatment mixing the original signal of the bass in three with a DI box - bass amp -Sansamp. It´s very used also in some styles of music like metal for get a more "organic" sound mixing the real amp sound with the sansamp sound. We could get a better sound of our amps simulators software if we would want it making work together virtual amp and sansamp, it´s other option.

And this wouldn´t be the first time that somebody make a Nebula library of a amps hardware emulator:
