I can't think of a way that the presets are causing your problems. Other than a possible corrupt download or install-gone-bad, if the presets were causing this many other people would be having at least some of the same problems. Have you run a memtest and chkdsk on your computer?

Hello, we usually don't give support on these forums, please get in touch with us directly for support!

However, I can say that the described issues can't be caused by the content of the library.
You could replace the kernels with digital silence- it will cause the same issues! 8-)
And the presets/settings are built on the same base XMLs that are bug-free since the early days of Nebula...

The thing is that this library is by far the largest that is available for Nebula in terms of RAM usage! With this there could be a lot of reasons for the described issue which I am pretty sure is related to the Nebula engine and/or the combination with you OS/hardware.

Best thing is to put Nebula in debug level 6 which is verbose mode and check for errors in the log files first! Like I said: I guess you won't find find any error and it's related RAM management...

I'll be happy to give some more support, but like I said, not here on the forums as I can't check them regularly!

I vote for option 2.5 ( shorter tails - same sample quality) ;)

my favorites till now (drums and instruments/synths):
the small/mid/large ambiences!
the rooms (posit + small + color2!!!)
rich and yellow plates!
bright and sm/mid chambers!

sometimes I cut highs at 3 or 5K...
sometimes (for me, personally) the tails are a tiny bit too long... but there is a lot of variations to choose from...
thanks for this great package.

what are your go-to presets?
do you set up a pre-delay before hitting nebula with these reverbs?

cheers,
michael

Bump.

I recently purchased the Additional Spaces-pack, and this is my first time seriously using the the reverbs because there simply wasn't any libraries with enough tail (I need massive, 5-6 sec tails for ambient production).

Few stupid questions (again, sorry getting to understand the tech):

1) Are reverbs always just one kernel? (IK, sorry)
2) I'm not seeing any difference in CPU usage between the PREV and normal programs. What's the deal?

I'm not sure if I have tempered with the Neb Reverb settings/XML in the past to mess something up.. these sound nice & all, but I'm still not getting enough tail..

Any chance anyone has audio samples handy for these verbs? I can't find any and I'm curious how they sound compared to the other faves.

Thanks,

And they are different than many other nebula reverbs. They are more like individual presets for specific uses, not presets that emulate a specific piece.

Thank you, Richie, and that would be much appreciated. If you end up having time, a tiny really not-thorough sample of a room, plate, and a hall would be really nice to have visible for all - and it would help me figure a few things out.

Apologies for any inconvenience - just trying to find some specific new verbs for a few upcoming records.

Just read your second post: that's interesting and good to know. I'm dreaming of some vocal hall options right now and shooting out 140-sounding plates - maybe two presets like that roughly if it's not a huge bother?

I'll do my best. Do you have a time-line you need? Any particular genre? Sample rate? Do you have some dry stems that you know well that I could use? That might be more revealing for your purposes. You can send them privately if you are worried about artists privacy.

That's super cool of you, Richie. I would be happy to send you a vocal snippet - I'll PM you. No super urgency, just hoping to try it on a mix I'm about to start tomorrow. Genre is indie-pop more or less. One thought of mine was to have some samples up so folks could hear what these are about, including myself.

Question for you - which library do you think is the most awesome, useable, and unique out of this bunch? As I mentioned, I'm wondering how these halls stand up. I have most of all the others, but haven't dabbled in these somehow.

Thanks much,
MG

"Which is best library?" is like asking "what is the best chord on a guitar?"...ha ha.
I have an unusually large "tool set" with Nebula and Acqua, and believe it or not, almost everything gets used. But on the other hand, I could do just as good of work with very few tools, and it wouldn't really matter which libraries and plugins I use, as long as they are well done (like good hardware, if it is well made and sensibly laid out, and great music is sent through it, great things will result).
That's my way of avoiding answering any sort of "which is best and which should I buy or use" question... ha ha, sorry. All of the reverbs from AITB are awesome and super-usable.

Best bet is to get me some stems (more is better, like vocals, instruments, etc), and let me render them through some various presets.

I know which is best is very subjective, but I think Rooms are hardest to do well and this Rooms set is incredible. Start there if you start with one
