Edit - I managed to purchase it via IE instead of Firefox, but it seems there is a issue with the site as I thought - got an automated email from AITB saying there is a problem and my purchase will be done manually.

Hi.

Can somebody check AITB's site because I think I'm going a bit mad. I'm trying to get E.A.R Halls but there seems to be a problem with the Paypal link. It takes me to Paypal, but when I try to sign in there is a message saying that Paypal is unable to process any payment to AITB. I tried to contact AITB directly, to see if there is an issue, and I got a 403 error message from the contact box on the website. Very odd. Paypal seems to be working fine for other stuff...

Cheers,

Chris

P.S. whilst I'm here I should ask - I've not been able to hear any demo's or whatever and so I'm going on the cheap price. I love reverb, but I want natural sounding reverb - this is a hardware unit I believe. Is is digital sounding?

for my ears, it is one of the best non-digital sounding reverbs for nebula, that i have heard. it is pretty close to real sampled rooms, like the theater of life programs. but still you can't beat real rooms :D
but they are just not so versatile to carry around or sample in differentt forms and sizes

Hi guys,

we will update the library hopefully soon (adding OSX x64 compatibility). As a gift for all owners of the EAR Complete bundle we will add a bonus.

What would you prefer:

1) A set of standard IRs that can be used in your favourite convolution reverb

or

2) An "LE" version of the library which is a bit more ressource friendly (less samples, shorter tails) and not every preset included....

Thanks in advance for sharing your opinions! :D

How about:
3) More of those cool "spaces" presets, maybe some outlandish virtual spaces like "in an arm-pit", "under a rock", "behind a planet", and so on..... I personally have not used a convolution reverb in a few years now, and as CPU friendly as "LE" presets are, I always feel like I am missing something..... I'm sure other people will have some more useful ideas, it is 6am here, I've been awake for over an hour, and after only 3 hours of sleep, I think my brain is in another place......

Me too, I haven't use convolutions since I found Nebula.
If I have to make a decision between those two, it would be LE, but I'd rather vote number 3.

i vote for an le-version.

shorter tails are welcome!

maybe more shortening, than less samples :D

thanks for asking,

I'm really not sure where this is going...but standard impulses as an extra? Maybe I'm too serious, but I'm hoping that's some kind of subtle joke.

I don't think they're kidding, actually. Many people still use their favorite convo-reverb plugins. I don't, but I do know of a few engineer friends that will use one instead of Nebula for various reasons. Sometimes a certain tool is just right. I think AITB is trying to be friendly and be flexible. I'd rather see the time go into new presets, but that wasn't one of the choices.

hi,
which part of the library do you recommend?
I own vtnx bx20/emt140 and valhalla room and vintageverb, which one would be the best addition?
(Genre: Pop/EDM) I think I need more reverb for synths, drums and vocals.
Thanks for helping out!
