Clariphonic characteristic library

Post by davidgary73 » Thu Dec 06, 2012 11:04 am

Greetings.

Just wondering do we have any 3rd party libraries that has the UBK-1 characteristics (saturation-compression and density)? Would like to know if there's one available or is there a way to simulate how a UBK-1 works with the 3rd party libraries that is here.

Edit: Thread leaning towards Clariphonic discussion.

Cheers

The KUSH Clariphonic is an excellent plugin too.
Would like to know if there any parallel eq's for Neb as well.

How about just replicating a track, and put a eq on one and not on the other or use a mix knob like you get on reaper.

Timp, your idea will get you a parallel-type thing, but from what i have heard from some people that have used the Clariphonic, there is a specific character you get as well (like any good hardware and/or plugin). And at least one of the people that I heard great things from are also huge Nebula users. So I have a feeling that getting a really good Nebula version, even an awesome Mojo version (in the grand style of Henry Olonga!) would be way cooler and better sounding than a simple mix knob will give us.

Yeah , your right , But taking a lovely passive nebula eq and boosting the crap out of it, then mix use a mix knod sounds very good! But i'm with ya on the mojo thing.

Absolutely! It is one of the many cool features in Reaper that blew my mind when I figured out that i could do this with any plugin. In fact, I have this AWESOME Neb EQ that I helped test that I have used this way......I think it's called a ELC24 Stereo EQ, or something like that.....
