Alex I got your PM but can't reply as it says you have disabled PM receipt.

I've resent the email & I checked the address.
I have mailed you before from the same address with no problem so no idea why you are not receiving these now.
FYI three of the authorisations did later arrive in my inbox so the delay was clearly no fault of Alex at all....must have been held up at yahoo mail customs!!

Got my MBC Pro quickly up and running thanks to Alex :-)

But I wonder where I find the precision panner mentioned in the manual and in this tread?
I can´t find it within the MBCPRO or the VBQPRO library.

The preset is named: MBC-PRO PAN
You can find it in the main MBC folder into Nebula browser.

Hi Alex,

Just want to hear a more in depth info on the differences between the programs on MBC Pro MKIII. Reading the manual i see there are a few programs written basicly the same without details describing for which situations they are mean't for unlike your previous releases where there were names describing what each program is mean't for:

MBC-PRO IL1 : Input Line Clean - by stock line channel
MBC-PRO IL2 : Input Line Clean - by stock line channel
MBC-PRO IL3 : Input Line Clean - by stock line channel
MBC-PRO IL4 : Input Line Clean - by stock line channel
MBC-PRO IL5 : Input Line Clean - by stock line channel
MBC-PRO IL6 : Input Line Clean - by stock line channel
(what are the differences between each one of these?)

MBC-PRO IM1 : Input Microphone Clean - by stock preamp (212)
MBC-PRO IM2 : Input Microphone Clean - by stock preamp (212)
(what is the difference between IM1 and IM2?)

MBC-PRO BG1 : Buss Clean - stock buss sub-group clean
MBC-PRO BG2 : Buss Clean - stock buss sub-group clean
MBC-PRO BG3 : Buss Clean - stock buss sub-group clean
(same thing here!)

From what i read they all look the same but i'm sure it's not the case. Would appreciate a little insight into this to get the best out of MBC Pro :) thanks!

They are different channels input, buss groups as in the original console, without any process. In a real console every channel or buss sound a little bit different to the others due to the electronics tolerances. This help to make the analog glue and sound. Now we have the same real "good issue" in Nebula with the PRO libraries.

hi all

Seems I dont notice/hear any difference using the panner...

create mono audio track
record audio
insert panner (mbc-pro or mwc-pro)

... just a variation in volume, but not noticeable change
in the sound field.

My daw panners are centered and daw pan law is -3db (Logic9)

Did I miss anything ? are these stereo panners or buss only ? not mono ?

I can't try in pro tools hd because any fxpansion wrapped vsts I have (nebula, but also all my other wrapped vsts) are not displaying their GUIs properly : blank GUI, very annoying..

Can anyone please help or point to a thread where the answer is ?

I'll try pan law at 0, since they were already sampled at -3db...

Thks !
