Manual:

Free demo version (@nebula-programs.com):
COMING SOON

If you liked the free BAE1073 you will go crazy with this one

- A vintage unit in very good condition has been sampled (no clone, reissue, ...)
- We sampled using Primsound converters- a huge upgrade to the last 1073 sampling session.
- We sampled HPF and Low Shelf / HPF an Hi Shelf at same time (a lot of people were asking for these "combo"
- 3 additional "multi band combos" are added
- An interpolating version for the low band that allows you to boost/cut frequencies that are not available on the original hardware

For some reason I thought Doc Fear was based on the 1073. So, what is the Doc Fear based on if this one is the 1073?

Thanks!

it sounds amazing!

i feel this has to be my last nebula eq until some change in the technology or something radical.

mammoth, doc fear, BMQ and 1073 all sound great, and very different. after all the old non nebula eq's sounding the same (and crap) for so many years it is taking quite a change in approach to choosing what eq is right for what. it is taking up a lot of time at the moment, but i can hear i will miss out on some great sounds if i don't learn the sound of these eq's :D

i can hear a really nice 'fat/character' tone in this eq that is very different from the mammoth which sounds very clean in comparison. could anyone comment on what uses they would find for this 1073 tone in mixing vs something like mammoth?

fantastic release, look forward to hearing what others make of it. from what i hear so far it maybe my default for all things that need to sound 'warm/fat' (hate to use those terms!)

Phew. The Fate rips the Brent Averill to pieces... Sooo good ! Glues to the signal like nothing else. Every boost instantly becomes part of the actual signal, doesn't feel like a "filter" at all...more like the signal actually had that boost already before, but now you can finally hear it ;-)

No wonder the vintage 1073 are expensive as hell. And no wonder people just don't believe the "Brent Averill uses the same specs and the same pieces as the real 1073, so it HAS to sound the same; if not, your ears don't work"-hype.
Can't wait for the 1081/1093 !
