Just very recent addition. I think we are all still fawning over Zodiac and Nag, and have yet to get to stripe. :)

I'm partial to that combination myself.

I think that Eric and the others devs are quite respectful of each other and since Michael Angel and AlexB both released some libs not too long ago, Eric was just waiting a little longer to do an "official" announcement. My 2 cents...

I think Eric always releases on the "down low" for some reason. If you check other posts relating to his releases you'll see they were all on the D.L. .

I would of thought more people would of been talking about it as lots have been asking for a 1176.

As I have stated in the "Gearing up for an 1176" thread, the 1176 is hard to come to grips with. If a person tried the demo and ran into that reality, that may be the result of not to many posts. A lot of us have never used the hardware version of these presets, so when people see titles like 1176, N**e, la2a, we think of the functionality of "Waves", or "IK multimedia", and I'm sure those companies "dumb" down those plugs to make them more user friendly for the joe willing to pay those high prices. Remember nebula is very close to the hardware, and not "dumbed" down. 1176 is hard to come to grips with.

I guess that might explain why this reacts so different when I tested against UAD.

There's a 1176 audio clip when IK Multimedia release black76 by Steven.

Vocal Hardware 1176:

I don't have one real-unit either, so I cherish every possible hardware audios.

Sounds different to Stripe76.

I prefer Stripe76 for mild gain reduction.
It sounds pretty good on vocals.
