Nebula and modulation = No-fly-zone (in broad general terms).

There are chorus's and flangers in the category TMV. Haven't seen any 3rd party ones, but would be interested.

Not sure. Modulation is an infinite oscillation so I guess that poses a problem when you are running finite samples (impulses).

trouble is pitch shifting, which is not replicated. Apart that everything works fine. Eventide is strongly based on detuning.

Isn't all chorus based on detuning?

If you don't mind non-Nebula then I recommend Audio Damage Fluid. It may not be an Eventide-like chorus (never heard those) but it's really nice and close to the Roland chorus on my JX8P synth, which is considered a very good one. Good price too.

Cheers

I thought so. Till I sampled L*****n chorus. It's pretty a good one even without the detuning effect, because in such case it was used in a subtle way
