"LEVEL" Free New Programs For All :-)

Post by cdsoundmaster » Sun May 27, 2012 10:35 pm

Hi there,

CDSoundMaster is pleased to share "LEVEL" for all Neb users (tested with latest NebPro and NebFree) !

"LEVEL" is a FREE utility created at 96kHz and able to convert to 48kHz and 44.1kHz.

I've created this to make level matching quick and easy.

There have been numerous comments and questions about how to set levels and render chains, and different approaches are welcome. Whether you use a digital rms and peak reference, or K-system, or -18dBfs, you should always be aware of your peak levels. Some use the procedures for monitoring levels correctly and some become confused by the right way to manage levels.

To make things a little easier, here is "LEVEL"! :-)

Use the presets to boost or cut by 6dB or more. You can use a "+" program to boost your peak to get a higher harmonic drive from your low level tracks, and you can use the "-" equivalent program to lower your track back to its original level. You can use "LEVEL" to reduce your bus group level at the end of a chain, or boost the start of a chain, it is up to you! :-)

In the VERY near future, we are hoping to announce
a landmark program library. You may find "LEVEL" beneficial for this coming release, as it will be specially designed to give specific response based upon the program's peak level and also rms.

We hope that you find "LEVEL" useful!

You can download it here:

God Bless You.
Sincerely,
Michael

Thanks Michael!! As usual, you are so generous and helpful to this music community. These programs ARE so simple, yet after testing them for a minute, I can already imagine how useful they are going to be, even without whatever your landmark release is!! (We are all very curious now, you know...... 8-) )

I was trying to create a chain with the NRGUI assertion bug, witch need older version of renderer without audio level.

Now i just need to use your programs before my chain ;)
And more usage soon.

Thanks ! 8-)

This certainly adds to my confusion ;)

If I were to use this program to, say, boost the track it is on by 6db, would this be the same as inserting a gain plugin at the same point and dialing in +6db?

cheers
Darren

thank You.. although.. to me.. it's not a landmark program hehe not as much as Tube Trek is! :D but for gain stage and (most important) metering things like satson are much better/faster than firing a nebula instance.. but I'm waiting what landmark library You're hiding under Your sleeves.. :geek:
