So when should we use Split-H, when should we use Classic? In Classic, I assume we want TIMED since it is somehow better than FREQD? Sorry if this is explained in that post. If it is, I definitely didn't understand it.

You are talking about better sound vs performance. Now you have the tools and knowledge, Nebula hybrid engine and you ears.

You can use a small value of TIMED, for example 2.2 ms and then complete the kernel with FREQD. BUT remember that almost every commercial library is already optimized for give the best relationship between sound and performance.

The idea behind Nebula tip #9 is to explain Nebula user how Nebula hybrid engine, FREQD and TIMED algorithm works.

tell you something, all this tweaking is bullshit, nebula should just work (and so it does except for some minor issues) :!:

Yes. WE ARE NOT PROMOTING USERS TO TWEAK EVERYTHING. We are just explaining how COREII works, you pay €39 more for it.

well, the tip is useful but I think it could be misleading for a newbie. The purpose was just suggesting a possible tuning; anyway this is more a setting for "gurus". In future nebula releases we'll hide almost all parameters (even the kern page for reverbs, but you could revert to old nebula mode)
I never tweaked anything in my 2000 presets library, I just select a preset and I use it "as is", or I select a different one. I think the PROG page togheter with a quick mouse preset select mode would be enough for everyone
