At my signal, unleash HELL !!!

Post by giancarlo » Fri Nov 26, 2010 4:32 pm

We improved largely nat. We'll release this new version soon. The new technology is named AHD, which stands for "adaptive harmonic debugging"; if merged with microkernels it leads to incredible new features and opens to new possibilities.

I sampled a free plugin from voxengo at MAXIMUM drive. It would be an impossible task for nebula. I sampled AUTOMATICALLY and I got TWENTYONE kernels, (20 harmonics), perfectly matched (but less aliasing).
This beast runs at 10% nominal CPU, so just a bit more than 1% of CPU of my i7 core (8 virtual cores, and 10% was measured on a single logic core).

I think a new era is coming. Here pictures.

sounds interesting. How will this technology benefit us users? Any improvements on capturing compressors?

21 kernels!? Wow!!!!

Oh my, incredible things are about to happen... looking forward to this. Thanks for working so hard to give us a better application year after year Giancarlo :)

Jesus... 21 kernels... lol...

So let Me see if I've got this one correct.

Vastly increased authenticity of classic analogue gear (hopefully compressors) at a greatly reduced load on the CPU?

Is that right?

it means higher distortion, better tube models, cabinets, guitar amps, heavy overdrive, better precision, reduced cpu load when tuned by the library developer, mixed techniques for sampling and cpu optimizations

Does that mean that each library developer will have to sample
EVERYTHING again ?

What's the time frame here Giancarlo ? When will we see it ?
