Switching Stepped Gain to Interpolated Gain

Post by markgalup » Sun May 15, 2016 6:57 am

Hi all,

Is there a way to make Nebula use interpolated gain settings even if the library comes only with stepped settings? For example, Tim Petherick's Silk EQ only has 3dB increments - can you make this continuous instead via a setting in the master page? I understand it won't function as the original did even if this can be changed, but I find 3dB to be too much sometimes.

Thanks,
MG

I believe this must be done by library creators when generating the program and vector files with NAT (the tool used for sampling and library creation).

Have you tried contacting Tim with a request for this? He's very responsive to messages and is continuing to update his libraries with new features and sonic improvements.

Thanks for the input, Brian. I have not contacted Tim and will definitely do so.
