Where is 64 bit? When do you plan on releasing it?
RE: You are talking about Nebula3 Pro OSX, right? or AU x64 only?
Nebula3 Pro OSX (VST/AU x64): no ETA
Nebula3 Pro Server OSX (AU x64 only): no ETA due we are implementing new framework, this will decelerate AU x64 development but will allow us to have better coordinate PC/Mac release in the future.
Why do you talk to people and tell them you're plans.
RE: They are secret, we are company. We are working in several project in the background:

. Better Nebula GUI language, we have a lot of request from 3rd developers and customer
. GKG and website
. Compatibility (testing host and adapters)
. AFXs (new releases)
. 3rd developers coming releases support and test
. Promotion and discounts
can you just make nebula 3 bug free and 64 bit?
RE: Please can count one by one each bug and I'll replay one by one with a ETA solution. We already solved some RAM chache/loading problems in PC and MAC, but I don't have to much bugs reports. We have more issues with compatibility (OSX - Logic X) and key request. We are in 1.3.609 beta.
I didm't buy a fast computer to use half of it power and i'm not spending on 3rd party adaptors that are full of bugs.
RE: Personally I beta test BC PatchWorks 1.10 that was release yesterday (working). DDMF Metaplugin beta PC was tested also. Giancarlo will test Metaplugin beta in OSX/LogicX ASAP. Both works here. I'll test Bidule and Vienna Ensemble Pro ASAP.
Can you give me a sever license so I can open up my 64bit DAW with out all this crap.
RE: I don't manage license.
I cant believe you spent time on or even start projects like Neo, Stradipad and cooltec to get more money in when you should be working on 64bit and bugs. Come on treat your current customers better. PLEASE!
RE: Acustica Audio AFX are Nebula Acqua Engine, library development and beta test and other work are done externally by 3rd developers, Antonello, my and our beta test team. AFX (Neo, Stradipad, Cooltec, etc) don't steal time to Giancarlo.
You also have the worlds slowest hosting so you can barley get on the site to find you what goings on.
RE: You are right. Sever change/update ETA February 2014.
At least make it clear what your doing and when its going to be sorted!
RE: Summarizing: updates and new versions AU x64 for example are delayed due new framework. Good news after we implement new framework updates for all platforms and versions will be easy.

I think as a company you guys really struggle to please people.

I'm talking about AU 64bit Nebula 3 Pro.

As a company you guys have got a bad attitude you take request and problems very personal instead of treating it in a friendly manner.

If you're new product is coming why cant you upgrade everyone to server until the new product is here as it sounds like that version will become obsolete anyway.

You seem to money focused as a company and I think you seem to forget that money comes from happy customers.

I'm one of you're clients I bought into this system but what makes you think I'm going to be paying for you're new products when you havent made me happy with current products.

I don't think you're listening to people we don't care if the new software comes out in 5 years time what we care about is what we have bought working to its fullest potential and been stable.

You're business might be secret but the product isnt. Future products is a secret but not products we already own.

Yes, BC PatchWorks, DDMF Metaplugin and Vienna Ensemble Pro might all work and be great but thats not you're product and they all cost money. If you willing to buy me a licence for either of them thats great but you should fix you're own product.

As far as bugs I'm not a tech person but Nebula always throws hissy fits and everyone knows that go type Nebula into gearslutz yes people rave about Nebula but every over comment is someone giving you there exact reason for either no longer using Nebula or not buying Nebula. As a company you couldn't ask for anything more.

I see great potential in Nebula but you seem very unfocused on whats happening. You have an incredible following and group of people who are willing to tell you want they want but you dont seem to listen to them and fob them off like you know better.

I would like to apologize for the tone in which I started this threat.

It's just what needed saying and It was ment to grab the attention of Acosutica.

I run 2 business myself which I do product design and marketing for.

This post is very honest but to you as a company you should see it as pure gold and not trolling or whining.

This is out of passion for the product and wanting to see it and Acoustica go in the right direction and succeed and grow.

I honestly hope it takes off and every studio starts using it but to get there you have to please people first.

As beta-tester I can say unequivocally, the efficiency is improved and sonics fantastic.

I don't believe anyone else in the world touches the quality, and if I were a competitor of Acustica...

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all, and jwidds remember, Server has an R in there :)

I'm my opinion we should do a big campaign and explain to the world how different is Acqua Engine, Nebula and NAT from logarithmic plug-ins, not only in the sonic aspect (people talk alot about this) also in the works flow specially in the low latency scenario (AVID PT specially): recording, monitoring, VSTi monitoring and recording, etc.

jwidds we can not fix a feature that never exist, we can not call "bug" to a misunderstanding of our product due new customers try to use like logarithmic plug-ins with out ask us, send us an email or ask us in the forum! They just go GS and said Nebula suck. Several times I contact those guys thru PM, no one replay me. We don't offer support in 3rd party forum, or thru PMs it's impossible to track it. Acustica Audio replay all emails, we never delete an email.

I have +10 year experience in customer support, in big telecommunications and internet company, dealing with software and hardware issues and problems. Now I'm freelance AV technician on some productions I have around 120 to 200 people in charge and misunderstanding is always the main issue also when we talk the same language, thing go worse when we work for UK,DE or NL customers (US/CA customers assume that everyone talk perfect English).

I definitely think that the "language thing" is a big issue for "proper" customer service.AA crew is made of non-"English as a first language" speakers (myself included even tho I don't work for them ;) ).

Communication can be hard in this frame. It was even harder before (remember the 1st AA website  ).

So some "attitude" and "cold answers" might come from this, from time to time.

@ Acustica.
As you're hiring right now.Think about a person or two who are native English speakers with good writing skills. They might help you a lot in the long run... I'm serious here.Good luck.

I totally agree with the OP. I'm in the same situation and it is making me really angry. I really hope AA will make it up to us OSX users who spent all this money on Nebula and the many libraries and are unable to use it anymore. And NO I will NOT pay the $70 to get a stupid wrapper.

I personally can not agree with the OP. I love Nebula, it works great for me, and they keep updating it and making it better. Ever since 64bit VST, it's been working like a charm and I've been able to squeeze it in my workflow. Besides surgical eq, maximizers, delay, and dither, it's pretty much the only plugin I use. Thanks to Cupwise I can even use compression with Nebula. Everything gets sorted out and gets better. And I understand that takes time. Now that I'm using it with Pro Tools 11 - life is great. It's the plugin I've always wanted.

I could have saved myself some time if this forum had a "Like" button. Thanks for the positivity, I totally agree with your post (although I am on a PC and have never owned or wanted to own ProTools...)

Gee whiz.

A few thoughts from my time Beta testing for AA:

We have beta tested countless numbers of revisions of the product, spanning across years
New features and improvements have been made throughout the lifetime of the product (there are very few I know of that have had as many internal changes and improvements in the vst category)
The product is unique
There are always people who speak / talk fluent English here. I also think Giancarlo's English has improved a lot since I first 'met him' @ noisevault
As with any company, people can suggest whatever feature or thing they want, but it wont necessarily get implemented
Being compatible with practically every vst package on the planet is a challenge
You don't have to push every button or move every slider or even use Guru mode to use the product
I have NEVER seen anyone on staff or betatesting here intentionally abuse customers

In return for the utterly singular sound this technology provides, I'd take the slow website, slow updates, the interface and the general approach and attitude of Acustica (which in my book is an admirable change from how the rest of the world does things) over any slick, traditional marketing monster à la UAD, Slate or Waves any day of my life.

If the website disappeared today and I'd be left with my 32bit Nebula Pro plugin (which obviously is NOT gonna happen), I'd find ways to keep using it for the next 10 years.

Take it or leave it, really. This has been made clear to me as a customer from the very beginning, so why come here and complain about marginalities!? "Oh, Acustica, I mean well, you're not making as much money as you could, OH!" Typical.
