retrying my purchased nebula-non functioning pgrms

Post by Scottf » Mon Nov 18, 2013 3:46 pm

I retired nebula about a month ago from my workflow, I wasnt happy with it, but then Iended up using sme of the"time varient" stock programs which led me to give it all another go.

So, iread another user was having probs with his cupwise pioneer reverb, described as getting crackly audio trying to use this as a send. He seemed to sort his prob- I think it was he increased buffer in xml, I really cant remember off had..

He said all was fine using as insert.. my problem is using even as inserts any of nebulas included reverbs not amind(just trying the plate folder there) third party libs cause this same problem for me, jittery broken cracked audio, nothing really happens

Now Im on Mac10.5.8 2.- 4 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo/memory: 4gb 667Mhz ddr2 sdram

In my example attempt above Ive used only one instrument track with Logic 8 ultrabeat playing one percussion rhythm...& simple inserted nebula reverb

I also was browsing signal to noise last night and tried the Mofo delay which is stated on that site as cpu intensive requirements extended l freq in mast page, & similar as insert in same basic setup results are same, so I tried incresing the l freq in mat page.

Summary my stock reverbs arent working in basic insert setup on 1 channel, I wish it was plug and play now my cpu heads in Logic are reading max

Basic programs work its just fancy stuff like the reverbs or third party delays/verbs etc

How should I configure this or evidently is my mac to slow for nebula, which I assumed I could at least get an insert reverb from stock library to work about to throw it all in again : (
