Mac update question

Post by biomuse » Wed Jun 08, 2011 9:41 pm

Giancarlo/Enrique,

I am currently on Nebula3 pro Mac version 1.3.478.

Question: Do I need to do a paid upgrade to get the latest version of Nebula3 Pro or not? Is the latest version also the server version (i.e. is everything by server now)?

No. Update Nebula3 Pro MAC OSX 1.3.492 is ready to you. You should pay if you upgrade to Nebula3Server.

Thanks!

Does the Mac localserver version work well now, and does it currently have the RAM advantage of being able to use one loaded instance for multiple instances in the DAW, like the PC localserver version?

I didn't find big crash but we still improve LAN server before official release in MAC and PC.

I tested the free localserver version, but it's
very heavy on the cpu. Also had lots of
freezes in Logic. I hope the server version for osx
will be optimized soon, then I'll buy it.
