me too. Why did you go for no dual mono? Seems strange to me.

please make Saturator as standalone module.
In most cases we dont need Compressor but it increases latency and eats CPU.

BTW thank you for "impossible" internal sidechain filter for compressors.
Waiting for link-unlink channels as default feature.
This time we did it because in this exact case the combinations were not too many because the routing is oversimplified. They are "just" 24 programs due to routing combinations. Sometimes we are forced to split by ratio and we can get easily 150-200 combinations and it becomes an impossible thing

Really liking crimson! It’s a total beast- I like this new direction from Acustica!! Will there be more “non eq” tools coming in 2018?

ok guys, you have a new release with the little fixes we promised yesterday
Just downlad it from aquarius (we'll update also legacy installers asap)

- crimson now supports dynamic rate! it means you could change sample rate at runtime and it will be simply "perfect"
- we added 48-88 frequency packs! francesco was really fast this time!
- we improved gain jumps when you disable or enable preamps and filters
- fixed the reported bug about linear response at frequencies different from 44 (andrums described it)

about your recurrent question, the cpu load when saturation is off, we'll improve the user manual, but here a quick explanation:

in crimson strip channel wet channel (module 5 of saturator) is always playing the filter (module 6 of saturator).
It means that a true disabling of the device happens only if
- you select a pure dry channel for module 5 (but all modules are still working and consuming cpu)
- you select a partially wet signal but you disable the filter in module 6 (even better) and you disable the global "on" button.

Basically when you disable the saturator with the "on" button remember to put in off the position of the filter of module 6
For pushing the cpu lower put in off also the shape.

As rule of thumb, you should see a completely disabled saturator diagram block scheme in the bottom of crimson AND a disabled "on" button for the whole module

If not for improved latency, a separate saturation module would nonetheless be quite beneficial for saving space on the screen. Please consider it, thanks!

Also, any plans for or merit of a HZ version?

I answered in a topic. Basically when you dial parameters it goes in bypass mode temporarily. Normally it should "ceil" peaks, anyway it doesn't detect intersample ones.

not this time. We tested an high latency version but the cpu load was almost the same, so we gave up.
