After playing around with the demos G just posted, I'm sold :D Lots of versatility, the tones/textures are very pleasant, and I already have a few favorite presets that I can't wait to try!

I'd list out the presets that I really liked, but that was basically half of them so...

How much and how soon?
Win10 / Reaper / i7 6700K / 64gb RAM | ZED-R16 / Digi003 (Revive modded)
N4 - Orange, Blue, Purple, Pearl, Diamond, Ebony, Gold, Navy, Amethyst, Lime, Sand, Pink, Titanium, Aquamarine, Magenta, Coral, Cobalt, Lemon

are these digital numbers on the down for each of the 5 taps editable or just for knowledge of sampled parameters?

The samples are very promising!
OK, so there are not only 40 delay machines sampled but also tape compression and first "nebula mechanics" for real distortion?? Non linear distortion, really? I thought this could never happen in Aqua/Nebula...

About tapes: this is not our take on tapes or distortion.
Maybe we'll have a plugin around the end of 2018
We sampled more or less "delay" tape machines, in general they are less linear. We are also interested in the delay action more then compression, don't forget it. Lemon IS a delay plugin

I'm specifying it not because they are bad.
It's because I don't want unhappy customers when we'll release dedicated and streamlined products, for example distortion.
Atm it's possible an insane amount of distortion, but there will be a product for it. It's not lemon.
I'm sure about a thing: this will be the only delay in acustica/nebula land for a bit of time. A classic. If we need more units we'll expand lemon.
Expansion could be for free or not, we didn't decide it yet. But we tried to cover the most extensive palette possible.

Cool, thank you. I never was disappointed with your processors, because, you won't believe - I can demo the Aquas ;) . I never experienced unknown quirks after buying, so I don't have to whine after purchaising, hehe. Nah, not at all (I overlooked while buying, but I would have bought anyway), - is it possible, that lemon (and ebony!) get ZL versions? It would be nice to be able to track with.

But there is compression and distortion, right? Even if it's not a dedicated plug for that purpose.
I'm only asking, cause I'm interested in your progress of development.
For example the ZL versions where the biggest gift for me. It's so nice being able to play live with these nice colours and sounds.

Lemon is also zl.
About your other questions: lemon is state of art regarding distortion we can apply to a delay unit, granted the cpu load, library size, latency, number of delay lines.

Atm we can provide a better distortion, but it will be addressed to a dedicated product where we have less constraints, and we can focus on the quality of the result.

Hi,

how will Lemon behave CPU wise... is it similar to other Aquas?

Well, I will know when I can demo it ... is there a release date already known?

... and please keep the price down :)

regards

Very nice! Thank you, I'm stoked.

each delay line behaves like a light pre + a light eq.
Basically lemon in normal usage (2 delay lines) is like a stereo equalizer when you enable the preamp.

Lemon:
- tomorrow, only the multitap version. We'll release stereo versions at the end of the month.
- full price 129, but we'll apply 15% presale discount (final price will be around 109).

Extremely cheap considering the amount of work and what it costed to us. Many of you (using their loyal discounts) will buy it at a price between 59 and 100.
