Re: Mac OS 64 bit | Request | Beg | Plea

I'm gonna join the 64 bit cheering club. I would be nice to run maybe 2 reverbs in a session. What's the deadline here G ?.. 1 or 2 months ? Are there other important updates getting in the way of this job or is it maybe really tedious or overly complicated ? Not being arsey, just interested in a ra...

They had to bring something out to face the competition. Thought it sounded cloudy and harsh.

Re: AlexB - FENIX : Mix & Master Vari-MU compressors

Good job on this one Alex. This is certainly one of the most successful (And indeed useful) sampled compressors.

Thumbs up.

Maybe Nebula doesn't cycle it's samples when bouncing offline. Did you try realtime bouncing ?
Edit: Same as the above reply I just realise. 8-)

The drive pushes the eq curve of the preamp. With the Phillips valves it simply became too scooped. Midrange decimated at 0 db.

Re: Erics gearing up for a nebula 1176

Well I'm with Mercado on this one. I've not "heard" hardware nor algorithmic software behave like these Nebula libraries do. Now I can certainly "see" that there are similarities but I do have to trust my ears when they tell me that the Nebula attack on the first transient is too slow. Could also be...

Re: Erics gearing up for a nebula 1176

It's correct. All compressors work this way. (other then Digital look ahead compressors.) Gotta say that none of my hardware comps work that way. If they did then they wouldn't realistically be all that great for smoothing out performances. The hardware 1176 will do it in "Nuke" mode though. Not tr...
