Re: >> AlexB - Filtek BP1 HP LP Filter : new life for Reverb/Delay and Mastering tricks <<

Hi Alex. You said the below "cut at 18Hz @ 6dBoct. But the HPF doesn't have 18Hz nor 6dB slope....?? Am I missing something? :geek: But real Magic happens when you use it in the M/S technique by use it flat for the mid - it just cut at 18Hz with natural 6dB slope - and at taste on the side: your mix...

Re: >> AlexB - Filtek BP1 HP LP Filter : new life for Reverb/Delay and Mastering tricks <<

Oh my. What is this I see? :x Nice to see all the freq settings in one instance! Here's the demo courtesy of Plugin Doctor. Nice stuff Alexb! The charts are, in order top to bottom, frequ response, phase, THD, IMD. Oh and the forum attachement process is messed up. I had to edit the post and and one...

Re: Cupwise Preamps + Bonus EQ

What is this preamp library?? I guess I missed this. One of the problems for me with Nebula is that I have to basically log in to the forum every day to see about new libraries and updates etc. I think you devs should try and get a newsletters happening. I know its a pain to set up these things thou...

Alexb Stooder 900 console analysis

I started documenting the curves of Alexb's Stooder 900 console and thought I'd share. Here are the frequency responses of the variations and links to some audio samples off soundcloud (downloads are enabled so you can grab the wavs). I can only post 5 images per post so the others will be in the po...

Oh for crying out loud. :D The demos sound really nice. Gives snares a nice pop and both the filter and shelf have a nice smooth rich sound. I'll pick this up.... :)

Re: C254-E Compressor & Limiter - Cupwise Release - With Free Demo Programs!

i just don't see good sales coming out of just about anything nebula related. I hear you Tim. I did buy your C254-E because I like the way you do your libraries and I like how they sound. But I've generally stopped buying libraries because Nebula has so many problems that get in the way of my workf...

Re: >> AlexB - Stooder 900 Console and eQ <<

Wow great work Alex! I can hear the depth and 3D of the console using only £10 Amazon earbuds, does this console not have a dynamic section? I just wondered if we were going to get one? Would you say this is the most 3D sounding console you have available? Thanks. Alex posted 6 minutes before you. ...

Re: Strange compressor behaviour

I just checked again and now it's working better... I think there may be an issue with PluginDoctor and Nebula 4 in AU format. With DDMF's Metasynth, if I bring in N4 AU I can only use it in mono because it only shows 1 input and output pin. DDMF confirmed this is a problem. With PluginDoctor with N...

Strange compressor behaviour

I've been using PluginDoctor to explor a lot of my plugins especially N4 libraries. When I test out my compressors from AlexB I get strange results. The "compressor transfer function" graph that plots input amplitude vs output doesn't show results that reflect the controls - usually the ratio curve ...

Re: L-bus released!!!

Here's and updated version using PluginDoctor 1.02 which corrects the phase problem. I also added another column for the L-Bus+Pre which is both in parallel, pre after L-Bus.

Re: L-bus released!!!

Thanks Plexus but I mean the phase the second plot down in your original post......It has a zigzagging which seems to mean somethings up with the plot. A Latency issue would explain this though as Stedal said Got it. DDMF confirms this is a problem with PluginDoctor and fix is coming. I will re-do ...
