Re: Mastering with nébula Equalizers

Sorry I gave missing info, demo presets can be downloaded from 3.rd party developer sites not from here.

There will be usually preset limitations but that shouldn't be a problem for your question. Also buying nebula 2 to me is a better starting point.

Re: Mastering with nébula Equalizers

Hey, As you might notice, there are demo presets from 3.rd party developers that can be used with neb. free. None of them has demo periods but I can't remember which has reduced quality, but some don't. The ones in free library were life savers years ago when ITB coloration was such a limited world....

Re: Transcending Music's Psychoacoustic plugins

I just saw Green Squeeze compresser has been released, see http://www.tmusicaudio.com/nebulacompressor.html . Ah cool, I'll demo it as soon as possible. From audio demo it reminded me of aggresive S*L bus comp. settings but with an extra smooth high-end. I think this is the first Nebula comp. which...

Re: Hi guys , new to Nebula - Mastering options

Well just to let you guys know I've been doing digital mastering for bands for the last 8 years (all digital, artists have had airplay here in the UK) but am really impressed with the sound of the free Nebula EQ/comps... I am looking to update my master chain to get a more fat analog sound after us...

Maybe OT but since drums came-up, did anyone listen the audio example of upcoming comp.? 8-)

Re: Transcending Music's Psychoacoustic plugins

I really like smart designed but still simplistic tools. The joy is similar to experiencing new bought hardware, more personal when working.

Re: Nebula Marketing Hype - especially eq's and compressors

Negative feedback depends on motive of person as if he/she is asking for improvement or attacking. From what I understand, you don't have enough background research, experience with tool or compared enough to what you already have. So probably you started by asking the wrong questions. Most users he...

Re: Nebula Marketing Hype - especially eq's and compressors

Wow, I'm glad I did some research before just jumping into Nebula. Acustica had me believing that I could buy this plugin and it would "flawlessly emulate analog processors in the digital domain." (directly from the website). I won't comment of flawlessly emulating but I'll remind you what digidesi...

Gearslutz...again...

Seriously, I had enough of it...whatever released for Nebula gets meaningless attacks all the time there. A tape emulation is released; a mod. writes that the hardware sucks, its name should be different and loving the hype bla bla...without even trying the release. Consoles and tapes are some-what ...

Re: New and affordable Console Emulation?

Pylorca eq is very good and though I didn't test yet, I'm sure the console emulation will be good too. What I (still) don't understand is this attention to console emulations. I mean, add subtle color to every channel-you get console effect. Before Nebula consoles, there were preamp emulations and i...

Re: AlexB - Modern Logic Console PRO and Modern Logic EQ PRO

Note: Why the SSL9000K instead the AWS or Duality ? It's very simple : the sound ! Last consoles (and gears) have been built with SMD components which sound very bad (harsh and with less stereo image/depth) than laid components. These consoles are developed around the NE5534 ICs and NOTHING (even t...
