Re: Nebula3 Server update this friday

Well considering that a value of 0 and a value of 2 gave you the same result, it coincides with the mention made in the other post specifying that the behavior is linear by default. 2 probably has no effect, which would be the same as leaving the entry out altogether...

Re: Nebula3 Server update this friday

see this http://www.acustica-audio.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=28769&p=83106&hilit=knob+mode#p83106 Thanks. Does it matter where the tag is added in the XML file? Also, I'm assuming that: <KNOBCONTROL> 1 </KNOBCONTROL> = "circular" mode <KNOBCONTROL> 0 </KNOBCONTROL> = "linear" mode Is that cor...

Re: Nebula3 Server update this friday

Functionality question here: Ever since upgrading to Server from Pro, the knob behavior in the console skins (or anything with knobs instead of sliders) is no longer linear. It now points the dial wherever my mouse is (rotary-style) and I would like to change it back to linear so my pre-programmed b...

Re: AlexB - Valve Tech Dynamics (upgrade from old OTD)

I just discovered these programs for myself. In my case, I was hooked by the tone, which I find so beautifully dark and warm that I couldn't resist. I know exactly what I'll use them for. As far as the compression goes, I too noticed that I had to smash down on the C1B threshold to get any compressi...

Re: AlexB: Massive Mix eQ

Yes, this is great. I grabbed it within one day of receiving the release email from Alex. I had been waiting for it anxiously since the Mammoth doesn't have 96kHz band programs... only those combos.

Re: AITB is BACK!!

Any chance of getting a 96khz version of doc fear. It's still my favorite top end of all nebula libraries. This would be great. I'm also going to praise Doc Fear's top end here... it's really something that everyone should experience at least once. The only top end in an eq that's given me the same...

Re: White Mastering EQ

One of my favorites came in the form of a recent email titled "XMAS are coming fast". Inside the email it also says "starting from the 22th of December".

A true gem.

Re: White Mastering EQ

I generally find all of Acustica's typos to be very entertaining. It wouldn't be the same if everything was spelled correctly with proper grammar.

Still, if you guys ever need another proof-reader, I hereby volunteer.

Fantastic GUI work here. I know I've been hard on you guys for Green3 and even Magenta3, but both of these White skins are just great. I love the big one :D

I agree. In fact, it's great on all strings and guitars. I really just wish it would go on sale again. I would love to get my hands on it.

Re: those crazy nebula 3d graphics

I've been wondering more about who makes them than how they're made. It's just a matter of designing the unit, modeling the geometry in a 3D package like 3DS Max or Maya, placing the texture maps, and rendering the images out with a proper lighting rig. I can do this myself, actually. I wonder if Ac...
