Re: NVC - Series - General News

Yes now I got the point, thanks. I'm sure if you need infos on the super volu plug (I tested some times ago and it worked great) the coder will answer you promptly as he did with me.

Re: Pirates !

Agree. Is what I'm trying to say since 2-3 posts as well :D

Anyway I downloaded CDSM N-TEN-AT-4 (which I own original) from on of those pirate sites and it's missing half the vectors :D

Re: NVC - Series - General News

So if I understand well in the end the built in CAL function does a sort of auto-gain staging between the istances right? You don't have to tweak it by hand each time you tweak one of the istances? Sorry it was not clear to me if that CAL module is auto or it's just a fast way to adjust gain staging...

Re: NVC - Series - General News

I didn't understand if gain staging between all the nebula istances in your NVC controllers is auto handled. I mean... I can set the IN volume, but then what happens when I start to boost one EQ band? all the other bands will have an increase in input volume or there is some kind of auto-gain-stagin...

Re: Pirates !

Interesting to see how many are against ilok..... I guess without some sort of protection we may have problem of not having any new developments. So I guess do we really have the choice? May I ask why don't you implement the protection which is already available from Acustica? I always wondered why...

Re: Pirates !

Exactly what I was talking about. That said, you already have a working (for now at least) protection system, it's just that not all the devs use it (till now)

Re: Pirates !

Anyway Giancarlo you already have you own copy protection system just find a method to protect customers in the eventuality onw dev goes off duty and most of all push devs to use it (!!)... Devs should develope some automated system to validate licenses (sort of what AITB did) or just sit down with ...

Re: Pirates !

It also needs to be simplified and made more efficient in use The NVC - Series from RJHolling is a huge leap forward toward this and I think there should be a tighter collab between him and Acustica (don't know to which extent) though. The reason it's obvious, CPUs are always faster and faster and ...

Re: Pirates !

At the moment there seems to be no serial generator for the challange/repsonse system that Acustica has adopted as protection for Nebula and the developers who want. So I don't think there is a real need to look for more coumbersome solutions. It's worth a look around "just in case..." but for now i...
