L*****n PCM 42 request

I'm curios can anybody sample this unit for the sake of its character when it comes to distortion (built in limiter)

I think it can be of use to add it before/after delay plugins

Just a tought.

L*****n PCM 42 is a great character delay unit

Re: analoginthebox.com: Fate Compressor (N**e 2254) released!

Actually i think the arts acoustic CL series compressor tries to do something like that, and it has a distrinct phasey transient sounds, which sounds cool on some stuff, but i think its an example of overdoing such an effect. Try the demo if you havent. Also the voxengo Marquis comp has a phasey re...

Re: analoginthebox.com: Fate Compressor (N**e 2254) released!

I agree with Swan about algo-compressors. Maybe I'm wrong, but what lacks in most, or should I say all ITB compressors, is frequency/phase response compared to hardware counterparts - to me THAT is what determines the character of certain gear, apart from harmonic distortion of course. I analyzed mo...

Re: Ok, the question again: WHICH console will be mine?

analoginthebox.com wrote:Yes, you are right. There is no mid boost. Neither in the commercial version. For a simple reason: It does not exist on the original hardware! :D

Doc Fear Community Edition missing MID boosts?

I'm just curious is it just at my place or that possibility doesn't exist in Doc Fear Community Edition program?
