Nebula on Linux...

Is there a possibility of Nebula being to ported to linux one day? LADSPA or collaboration with Ardour or something? I've got Debian servers running wine & Neb Server very happily, but having a native version would be amazing as that is the only thing stopping me switching over . Cheers! Just wonder...

Re: AlexB - 4KD PRO : Dynamics Collection

4KD sounds great. It would be really good if Alex could do something like an STC 8, M*****c MLA-2, Pendulum etc in time... something gentle, functional, versatile & nice, a nice compressor to go in the smastering sections :D.

Re: Links to nebula server free PC VERSION (SOON MAC OSX)

can i add multiple ip's to the xml config file? We have 2 dell poweredge servers, each with 4 x gigabit eth cards, connected to a switch, with another server functioning as the DAW with multiple network i/o's. The network, static ips etc is all setup, working perfectly with netwrk drives, ftp & ream...

Re: Nebula ,How close are we?

I prefer CDSM's W295b to my hw pair - he obviously sampled a unit in better nick than mine ;) Less noise too. (Though the w295b isn't too bad in the noise dpmt)

Re: AlexB and CDSoundMaster stuff at 88.2khz

SRC in Nebula doesn't affect the incoming audio, it's the programs themselves that are upsampled or downsampled. You need to run your project at the desired sample rate, not just upsample on the way in - if anything I could imagine that causing more problems than it solves. I used Nat to upsample my...

For these genres, I find the MWC is a nice balance between transparency and warmth. MBC or CLC would be my next port of call.

Re: Fate Compressor Uses?

I'm not a fan of N**e compression on the 2 buss at all, 2254, 33609 whatever, they are not ideal for program compression at all, except for the rarest of occasions where it might aesthetically work for a particular track for whatever reason. Inserted flat over the mix-buss is a different ball game t...
