Re: Reverbs

I'm surprised to read this...Can you specify which Neb reverb would be a good alternative to VRoom? I'll give the Neb reverbs another stab. To reiterate: http://cdsoundmaster.com/site/cds-software-online/pp2nebaudio.html Haven't tried the VXVT verbs or the VROOM plugin so I have no opinion on that ...

Re: THE Drum Compressor - CDSoundMaster !!!

No regrets here! In fact, I'm still intimidated by the 800 programs!!! GREAT VALUE!

It sure sounds sweet though, everytime I load up an instance, I start going through them all. They all sound great, so then its a matter of personal preference to shape the sound how you see fit.

Re: S*L Console?

That's a little much. You only need one preamp in the real world. The MIC console inserts can be seen as the preamp built into the board, so it would likely go like this... 1. S*L Preamp (from the Preamp Color Suite) OR the S*L Mic Console Insert 2. EQ *(see note below) 3. Channel Compressor from 4K...

Re: S*L Console?

Wow, pretty obvious you haven't even looked  The Snap (S*L 4k Compressor) http://www.analoginthebox.com/product.php?id=9687 Lots of stuff here. 2 S*L Consoles (MLC and CLC), 2 S*L Eq's (MLeQ and CLeQ), 4k Dynamics, and there's some S*L in the Preamp Color Suite as well http://www.alessandrobosc...

Re: Reverbs

I'm in love with the Producer Pack 2 from Michael Angel. It has some additional stuff for bass and guitar, but I haven't used them yet. The reverbs are pretty diverse and sound fantastic!

Re: When do you use Liquidity?

I wish I could give a more detailed response, but as far as I know it's always best to leave it alone to best preserve the original character of the given program

Can this unit even be sampled?

Hey guys! I've been experimenting with NAT and have no problems with preamp and EQ programs and I want to delve into some dynamic processing. Here is the unit I want to sample, a D*x 3BX. It is a 3 band expander. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGq3UOHLJLI&feature=related Not my video, but it will gi...

Re: VST plugin - CLeq User interface Alpha testers wanted

I am VERY appreciative of the hard work that has gone into this plugin! Can't thank you enough grisman! But I do agree with lipa. This has a LOT of promise! The only complaint I have now is the latest build still has that latency issue that is solved by turning it off and on again... not a big compl...

Ok got my new catalytic converter, oxygen sensor, and brake pads in  Back OT! I wanted to lay out my workflow for busses for you. First: GAIN-STAGING IS KEY! If you are using a library calibrated for 0VU/-18dbfs (the AlexB libraries for example), then make sure your busses are also calibrat...

Re: Nebula Signal Chain

Hopefully I get this "right"... TRACKING 1 - Console MIC input 2 - Preamp (Don't do both 1&2 unless you're going for a highly colored sound. Make your first insert #1 OR #2, but ignore the other. Hope that made sense  ) 3 - Tape 4 - Tapebooster + 5 - VTM-M2 6 - Equalizer 7 - Compressor 8 - ...
