Re: Alex's New Website

He posted about it on Facebook the other day. It looks great! Cleaner and more vibrant/exciting looking that before. With his and Michael's new site designs, its like a whole new community or something

Re: AlexB - 4KD PRO : Dynamics Collection

There's the problem. If I remember correctly, there are many demos, including AlexB's, that do NOT work on the free versions of Nebula.

Re: My first compressor attempt *freebie inside*

*UPDATE* - New link/Updated Program Been trying some new stuff in NAT, and things are getting closer. The behavior is much improved, the controls are now accurate. Now my problem is that the Gain Reduction meter says it's compressing 6db or so even when no actual compressing is happening. Even with ...

My first compressor attempt *freebie inside*

Hey guys! The more I read/re-read the tips of the months, various posts, and just try stuff within NAT... I FEEL like I'm getting somewhere, but the journey has just begun. Here's my first attempt at a compressor. It's got a nice thick sound to it. Hopefully someone can help me out! If not...

Sorry, but I have no idea about the midi controls or the 5k default for your Nebula Reverb instance :?

Maybe someone else can chime in?

Re: Radio Junk from Cupwise at KVR Developer Contest 2012 !!

I'm loving the Radio Detuned plugin! It took a little noodling to understand it better, but it was worth it. Some of the textures you can pull out of it are awesome. Thanks a ton Cupwise!!

Re: Optimizing Nebula3 Free Presets

Although, in the FAQ, it says that Nebula reverb yields better quality, because it access longer kernels. Correct. But when I load Nebula reverb it only has 5(4th harm) kernels, opposite to Nebula normal version which has 10(9th harm) kernels. Why it's like that? First off, ALWAYS use Nebula Reverb...

Re: Tape in Nebula - How do you use it?

1. Read this thread to clarify the wheres/whys regarding a Nebula signal chain http://www.acustica-audio.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=24658&hilit=chain 2. LOTS of reasons! A pleasing EQ curve, saturation, compression, "glue" factor, transient shaping, etc... 3. Think of IPS (inches per second) li...

Re: Looking for a library of real sampled rooms

I'll have to try those. I'm reading in the manual for PP2 and it says, "...they are acoustic environments that I have created." He goes on to refer to the environments as "places". I get the sense that these are not sampled rooms, otherwise, why wouldn't he just say that? Maybe Michael can clear th...
