Re: Is this a good server for i7 host machine

Lol. I hope that's not the case. I have the technical know how to work with computers, I've built the one I have from scratch and have done so for at least 15 years, I'm just not familiar with the capabilities, computational wise between a server CPU and a general CPU such as an i7. I really would h...

Is this a good server for i7 host machine

Poweredge 2950, they are dirt cheap! Would like to grab a couple, throw em in a corner and load them up Nebula 3 Ultimate. But I'm unsure as to this being enough power to provide what Giancarlo states as 4x the power of the host machine. One way I plan to use this is with a small Linux distribution ...

Re: MySonMax

This the B*E Sonic Maximizer!! So mad now...I had the hardware version of this and I'm not sure where it went. This could've been my first project into NAT sampling. I thought I seen B*E in another library, will search for it. I literally just add this to the master bus without touching it and it br...

MySonMax

I realize that transcending music no longer contributes to the platform anymore but is it possible to still get the full kernel library for this? It is a must have on all of my work. It has a permanent place on the master bus. What device is this? And can someone sample it again if It is no longer a...

Re: A request: Drum Mics

What is the name of the sm 57 in that library?

I've been actually using the u87 from this lbrary live to replace the at2020 tone for vocals and am in love with the sound! Call it the at2087 lol

Re: How to install the Nebula Server in plain English?

Let me see if I can make it more clearer When you install nebula on the remote machine, a standalone exe will be created. No DAW is needed on the remote machine. After installation, copy your vector and program libraries into the nebula repository on the remote machine. The next step is to make a co...

Dell Server to be used with Nebula

A user on another forum(I think they are here too) mentioned Dell Poweredge servers being used for the server app and having success with it. I'm finding a few of these servers used on the Internet...any suggestions to a model number that would play nice with my system? See my signature for specs. B...

Re: AlexB - new Modern Tube Preamp PRO released !

Appreciate the replies, grabbing my this as we speak. I wont get to use until Thursday, so I'll have to be patient. Taking advantage of the AlexB xmas discount with the silver customer prices. Need that extra something for vocals. Since this was separate from the preamp color suite I snagged last we...

Re: AlexB - new Modern Tube Preamp PRO released !

About to pull the trigger on this. Does it impart qualities(my new use of this word for color and vibe) to a bland recording, namely my at2020 through a digi002 piped in through adat to my audio interface? I want to improve my vocal signal with some qualities!

Re: AlexB: Massive Mix eQ

Same here, I've only used 1 band for a rough mix for vocals...this thing makes no sense how amazing it sounds, incredible is not even enough to describe what came out of my monitors and I give many thanks to AlexB and his splendid work at sampling this beast of an Eq.i haven't even started my mix ye...
