Re: Confused about .602 Server OSX 32-bit Installation

Yeah that was with .602b, I should have specified that. I'll try with the REAPER .ini that's good idea, could be something with REAPER's clear and rescan is acting wonky. This is very much not a production machine (otherwise I would not be toying with unsupported OS upgrades) so my level of concern ...

Confused about .602 Server OSX 32-bit Installation

Okay so I did a fresh Mavericks install; installed Pro .602; tested in REAPER, everything was happy. Installed Server .602; started up REAPER, 64-bit bridge fires on Nebula load; okay, yeah, I remember, I have to go delete the 64-bit installation. No problem. Delete the 'Acustica64' folder, restart ...

Re: Using R2R programs instead of EQ for tone

Well the upside to being 2nd is that the Waves plug could prove to be a big seller which, I would think, could mean slightly improved sales for "the Nebula version" of the same machine. But what I know about selling plugins I could squeeze into a very small (but reverberant) space.

I will still be doing this j37 , sorry for the wait!
I knew I was waiting for a j37 but I didn't realize one was forthcoming. Possibly the coolest thing I've heard in a while (since the day Michael announced Apex probably heh?).

Re: NVC - the Nebula Virtual Controller Website is On Line

update news ... I have sent documentation, video tutorial [Reaper], and NVC for testing on a different system. This was something I felt should be done, as it is difficult for me to change my main computer to an neutral state. At the same time, I should also get a sense if the docs and video are cl...

Re: How to get that "Vintage" Reggae Dub sound ?

As for the saturation: while some developers really do a fantastic job with some libraries (SCS, Titan v2...) ATM, another tool has become almost indispensable here alongside Nebula – Klanghelm's SDRR. You won't regret it at all ! +1. I'd be tempted to think Nebula might not be dirty enough for wha...

Re: NVC - the Nebula Virtual Controller Website is On Line

Sincere question with all respect intended: I subscribed to this thread with the intention of receiving early warning of one single piece of news: a release date (or even some estimate of such). Anything along those lines? Are we talking weeks, months or years?

Re: Gemini Audio Releases G2500!!! - (A*I 2500)

I was reluctant at first but it's actually super easy: -Copy your Nebula (not Reverb, just plain Nebula) .dll (Windows) or vst (Mac) and name them both "Nebula Compressor.vst/dll" and "Nebula Compressor.xml". -Open Nebula Compressor.xml in a text editor and add a line and change a value: "Open the X...

Re: Stradipad - I Just Found Out About This

The first rule of Stradipad is you do not talk about Stradipad. I asked one of the devs for clarification and was more or less told the info on the site is what's available.

Re: why cant i get nebula to work properly??

I can't believe nobody warned you about the problem with Metaplugin, it's significant: if you work in any sample other than 44.1K the Nebula program will, in many cases, need to be manually reloaded to instantiate correctly (I've never tested what happens in 44.1, for all I know it doesn't instantia...

Re: .600 32-bit OS X Issues

Just to update: one of my engineers just reported that he is also seeing this behavior (Reload -> sometimes [unpredictably] comes up in bypass) on his Mac so it's not just the machine that was having issues already, this might be a generic OS X / .600 problem. I've seen it enough times now today tha...

Re: .600 32-bit OS X Issues

Different issue but same machine; figured better to continue this thread than start a new one. When I hit RELOAD, I notice that sometimes it's not finishing the load all the way; when that happens my programs are coming up in BYPASS. Sometimes reloading the program (a second time) fixes this; other ...

Re: .600 32-bit OS X Issues

Well I just finished bouncing like 4 sessions, all fine, no crashes. So my problems seem to be solved, .600 32-bit is working in 5 out of 5 Mac setups (4 Mac Pros from 2009 to 2013 and a MBP) and 1 Windows setup. It does seem more stable so far (I think I've had less crashes [I didn't have a ton to ...

Re: .600 32-bit OS X Issues

Okay I figured it out; there were 2 things affecting this installation, one of which was the reinstallation of the authorization, the other was that when I installed Mountain Lion it reset the permissions on /Library/Application Support (which you have to manually reset to get FXpansion wrapper to w...

Re: .600 32-bit OS X Issues

In hindsight I need to try one thing first: my reinstallation of .492 freaked out until I replaced the authorization. As I think about it, I don't think I remembered to replace the authorization after installing .600 today. I will try it again with that added step and see if it makes the difference ...
