Re: Cooltec EQP1 Released

I'd like more clarification on this ... what I read is .. The Cooltec EQP-1 Program Equalizer Plug-In Suite is available ... and includes 7 standalone plug-ins What is different than the Nebula version ? thanks. If I'm reading this all correctly this is a new sampling of an EQP1 by Michael, sold as...

Re: Cooltec EQP1 Released

€89 is a lot because we've been spoilt by having a Pultec for €20...if we are honest with ourselves...plus this is not quite a Nebula Library in the same way... Not really, no. If we were to play "One of these things is not the like the others" with pretty much every Nebula library ever sold, this ...

Re: Cooltec EQP1 Released

89 Euros is a lot when you consider Alex's Vintage PoolTec is 20 and Michael's 1A3S is under $50. Other than the pretty pictures what makes this library so costly in comparison?

Re: Best way to monitor gain reduction when using Nebula?

@ngarjuna i see things about the benefit of gr-meter allmost the same like you, especially in the nebula world. while on a real hardware box the needle shows you exactly what the vca is doing, nebula kind of guesses the action by comparing two envelopefollower, one before and one after the process....

Re: Looking for recommendations on libraries

I think EAR Is fabulous. Really, really great sounding reverbs and it's a very versatile library when you have all 4 parts. VNXT EMT is a total must have. Cupwise's Custom Plate is very nice too but it's much darker than the EMT so I use it less. But it's a case of preferring one hardware over the o...

Re: Best way to monitor gain reduction when using Nebula?

Hmm interesting. Well if someone can hook me up with the syntax I'd be willing to alter one of my skins with 2 meters so that one is input and one is GR. To be perfectly honest I find GR meters fairly useless myself; the numerical amount that something is being compressed is totally arbitrary and do...

Re: Best way to monitor gain reduction when using Nebula?

I am also looking for a way or good skin to monitor GR when I use a Nebula compressor...any suggestions on skins? I'm not sure that Nebula skin meters can be configured for GR; but if they can I would be willing to redo one of my skins with one of the meters assigned to GR. Giancarlo or Enrique: is...

Re: DDMF Metaplugin works with 96kHz libs!!!

Out of curiosity Enrique: would you expect the same behavior in .600+ as I'm getting in .492? Or were there changes that could affect this issue in particular?

Re: DDMF Metaplugin works with 96kHz libs!!!

It actually appears to be less predictable than I thought in my last post. Today I loaded up a project (2 instances of Metaplugin, one with 2 Nebulas and one with 4 Nebulas). Started Pro Tools from scratch, loaded the session, all 6 instances came up <- 44100 blinking arrow Out of curiosity (based o...

Re: DDMF Metaplugin works with 96kHz libs!!!

Well it appears the 48KHz functionality has changed a little: when you open a project that already has Metaplugin/Nebula setup, it's like it used to be; Nebulas load at 44.1KHz with blinking arrows and have to be reloaded. But...if you instantiate Metaplugin and then use its internal LOAD function t...

Re: DDMF Metaplugin works with 96kHz libs!!!

Interesting, I can confirm this behavior in Nebula/Metaplugin wrapped into RTAS.

However it still isn't handling 48KHz correctly.

Re: Noooooo............ Sad day for Nebula world.......

Hi everybody, I need to chime in to clarify some things. At first: there is still support from Niklas and Me!!! Existing users still are getting help and authorizations, so no need for keygens! We always try to mail as fast as possible. ... So for all existing users of AITB, they still have access ...

Re: Noooooo............ Sad day for Nebula world.......

in my opinion -> cool down here <- when the aitb page was closed it was written aitb is locking for a solution for all existing customers. so, stay cool. I have some aitb librarys too and I have a big problem when I lost that but whats the problem to have patience? the most of screeming people here...

Re: Noooooo............ Sad day for Nebula world.......

The problem isn't having to go through hoops to gain authorization for the products we've purchased; the problem is when those hoops become unavailable. As it is, this is just another excellent example of copy protection harming paying customers (while apparently pirates are using some of these same...
