Re: Amethyst

Haha - Entered a ticket: It wasn't 5 minutes after I purchased Amethyst when the trial HF EQ all knobs became stuck at their full left position - I cannot turn them even if the EQ is off or on. The only way out is to insert a new Amethyst and copy the settings that remain. This reminds me of a Green...

Re: Amethyst

Holy Smoke & Mirrors Batman, I wasn't going to try any more Acqua till Neb4 came out but was curious (and also the garage sale prices help a lot). This Amethyst is kind of amazing to me for a few reasons; 1) Sound, even on master bus (Green helped too). EQ and Comp are amazing, especially comp; 2) I...

Re: AB N54 or N**e 2254

True Brian its just the static difference a starting point perhaps - its a pretty hefty bump N54 adds, I agree NovaGE and the bx_dynEQ V2 are nicely transparent for managing momentary buildup thru-out the spectrum. My 2 favs at the moment... :)

Re: AB N54 or N**e 2254

...there is HP in the compressor actually but it adds a lot of Lows, sometimes are welcomed but sometimes not. I agree - I like the basic tone and compressor action but too much bass without some compensation. Here's a snapshot of a 'flat' pinkish noise and AB N54 (the green curve) that gives me th...

Re: Sum100a v2 released

Tim, on your website, MyAccount Purchase History...would it be possible to have a "Product Name" column. The more products I purchase the longer it takes to find specific updates...Thanks!

Downloading SUM100a-V2 now :D

Re: Libraries idea "TAPE EQUALIZER" / Bias & curve setting

Cdsoundmaster's R2R library 'kind of' has these presets. At lower levels, the highs are more present, and at higher levels, the highs are more attenuated. I use this all the time with any source, works great! The Studer A800 presets from this R2R library are the ones you're looking for. Maybe a bit...

Re: AlexB: 4KD Channel Dynamics & G.Comp

AlexB - I purchased "4KD - Dynamics Collection from S*L 4000E console" back in 2011, is that the same as the CLD? I'll try and upgrade and see what happens... :)

EDIT: Here's the one I purchased: 4KD Pro:

Re: Murano available for download!

Well ok, here's a picture of part of the faceplate. If there is no description of the faceplate controls does anyone know what the button I've put a white square around does? It is marked "IN", "OUT" and "ON". What does it do? Thanks

Re: Murano available for download!

Would you please point me to the Murano manual that explains the faceplate controls, the AquaMarine manual I have contains a faceplate that does not match Murano. In particular what does the button to the left of the silk screen words "DISCRETE ATTACK" do? It is marked "IN", OUT", and directly below...

Re: GREEN rel J with additional frequencies out !

Well nevermind. I tried Green2 again today with no memory pressure, something like 65% free memory according to task manager and the symptoms are the same. If you guys can't recreate it or you don't have any tools to trace anything then I guess that's it...I'd vote for a trace log tool though if I w...

Re: GREEN rel J with additional frequencies out !

Green2 again, Win7-32. Last controller to the right is shelf, 26K boost at 9db. Switch band off, all knobs for that band rotate full counter clockwise. Switch that band back in and the full wideband audio (not just that band) decreases in volume about 9db, knobs rotate but return to full ccw on mous...
