Re: "harmonic" Distortion

Check out the audio demos for the G610. This might be what you're looking for.

Re: Nebula 4 - to be released in November 2014?

musicgreator enriquesilveti Pardon me, guys, was busy a little. Download the video here: http://yuriilyin.com/Nebula.rar Thanks for that great demonstration :!:  Great music too! Basically this looks like "freezing". You do this for each instrument, one at a time right? Why don't you do that...

enriquesilveti It will be awesome, because it is the only issue that remains unresolved for me  From yesterday you can say resolved! PS: VEP screenshot is yours? Is local or LAN? Do you have latency issues? Very interesting, how you solved it)) But i`am glad if you are! VEP - yes, it`s mine a...

Re: Confused about Nebula..

For more obvious preamp style nebula presets and for adding a lot of warmth, check out the driven audio demos of G610, NVE PRE 73 and KultComp Tube at gemini-audio.net.

Re: Looking for recommendations on libraries

For tube saturation you might want to check out Gemini Audio's G610 and KultComp Tube. Both include different degrees of distortion, from clean to heavily distorted. Great for adding thickness and warmth.

Re: Compressor technology status?

KultComp and G76 were sampled and programmed in a way which allow ultra fast compression while still reproducing all the little nuances and characteristics of the original hardware. You'll have to load them with a deticated nebula version which is basically a tweaked copy of nebula which is explaine...

Re: question about AlexB consoles

Someone told me, that it's mainly about the pan law and that the pan programs wouldn't really improve the sound. So he always sets his DAW to the desired pan law.

Re: Do u guys find working with nebula effects mastering?

That's very interesting. All i can say is, that i have also been disappointed with mastering before, but that have been pretty obvious artefacts which i couldn't even imagine how they got produced by analog gear. Besides that, achieving the loudness might always come with an side effect. There might...

Re: Pirates !

I've seen very attractive discounts from every developer so far! Henry Olonga sells many small libraries instead of huge ones like AlexB, CDsoundmaster, Gemini, Cupwise, Analoginthebox etc. So you can't really compare. And then all of them are super cheap compared to any other software anyway, while...

Re: G76 Harmonics or One176 Compo Mojo?

I personally prefer the G76 Nebula Compressor programs over algo plugins. In my experience algo plugins add something unpleasant which can't be undone with Mojo programs. Therefore i try to use Nebula instead of algo plugins as much as possible.

Re: Best Nebula Compressor for 2bus duties?

You should definitely checkout KultComp from Gemini Audio, especially the "NC" programs. I know mastering engineers that use it.
