Re: Acustica is pleased to release PINK2 suite, the dawn of CORE12!

Very cool, thanks for confirming Giancarlo. One question...what does the P button do? It enables/disables the preamp (harmonics + tone color + phase...) section. Nice! Is it one of the eight preamps that are in the standalone preamp module or is it for the 780 specifically? How about the 1650, whic...

Re: Acustica is pleased to release PINK2 suite, the dawn of CORE12!

@giancarlo I know you may not want to hear this, but I truly think a per band bypass on the 780 would be amazing. I know top dudes that use it for mastering even, and they always only use a few bands. This would make it infinitely more useable for mixing and it is a gem of an EQ that I wish I could...

Re: I hate Acustica Audio

Acustica Audio plugins are so damn fantastically good that ruined my listening to any other plugins I insert in my mixes! In my mix (master) bus I am only using Acustica Audio compressors and eq. The difference from any other plugins, like for example S*L and N**e bus compressors, as compared to sa...

Thank you for the praise please keep brand names apart! Re: Acustica is pleased to release PINK2 suite, the dawn of CORE12!

First off, woohoo! I have been waiting for this one for awhile now! Review video next week. :D Second, outstanding job once again AA! The GUIs are beautiful as per the usual and the sound (at least the EQs, as that is all I have tested so far) is quite yummy. The 780 EQ rounds out the package nicely...

Re: Magenta 3 this friday

6) Please take a look at the way you're sample rate converting your vector files. If you down-sample to 44k and then upsample to 88k, then does that not take the high frequency content out of your 88k vector set? My thinking is that the anti-aliasing removes the content at 44k, but then it doesn't ...

Re: GOLD Analog Dreamware Anthology - TBR 18-19th april

Is there a particular reason why GOLD doesn't have the low end from the 1093 eq with the bell curve? Is this not a strange omission as all of the other low frequency curves are shelves? I find the narrower bell curve useful for kick drums etc... Agreed...it's conspicuous by its absence, indeed. It ...

Re: GOLD Analog Dreamware Anthology - TBR 18-19th april

We used to track audio in the hardware world, we don't in digital produced music today, and that plays a big part in why digital audio sounds thin compared to older music IMHO. Today most music is produced in a DAW, then digitally dumped to another DAW for recording and mixing. We've lost the track...

Do you guys mix with your eyes or ears? That's irrelevant. The GUI lettering should not be blurry. Just like a new car should not have paint chips before it is driven off the lot. There is a limitation of what is possible using a specific font, font size in a specific photorealistic gui. ...
