Re: L-bus released!!!

The new download makes the 4:1 compression at 96k not load for me. The other programs seem to load fine. But I didn't check them all. I still had a copy of the original programs and vectors so I put those back in their respective folders. It would be great if we could get an email notification when ...

Re: L-bus released!!!

Just posted this on gearslutz- Hi Guys, L-bus news- I've just uploaded a new version with todays date on it. The files uploaded are not the lower CPU versions that i'm gonna make. However, I found some little bug that may improve the cpu consumption of the originals. Nothing has changed sonically I...

JPN, criticism is only a bad word if you read it that way.

The 2016/2017 releases with pre needed that sentence as well. I am glad it is back.

Re: Jpn skins for TimP libraries

Criticism is how we improve. For example, the new buss pre skin has a sentence on it that says it should go after the comp. That was my idea :) I am the one who suggested it in this forum. LoL I start doing it even before Bus Comp. Ok keep criticism if you think it´s a good way to improove things. ...

Re: Jpn skins for TimP libraries

You don't know anything about our manners or the "goodness" of anyone's hearts. We are merely putting forth a suggestion to improve a website that has a design flaw. This subject has been mentioned many times by many people.

If that offends you ... well then I am "shocked ... just shocked" lol.

Re: Jpn skins for TimP libraries

No need to be sensitive JPN. We are all friends here. I must agree it doesnt make sense to login on Tim's site and only see receipts with dates and no other order information. The site has had this problem for years. And I typically have to open a lot of receipts to find the one I am looking for. No...

Re: Timp news

Hi Tim, Hope you had/are having a nice little well-earned break :) I just have a question sorry, you mentioned that you recommend putting the Pre instance after the Compressor, I was just wondering if this is also the best practice for your EQ libraries too? Cheers Some of us should work with Tim t...

Yes, but we cant use the gear properly if we dont have easily accesible instructions :)

Re: U76 v3 released

We are going to add one more preset, What you will have in order of instances- > Compression >(Ratio off) clip > pre This will complete the picture Tim, you should put this info on the extra space on one of the skins or something. Because how will anyone remember this? If someone doesn't use your p...

Re: Some console comparisons

@ RJHollins: That's interesting! I'm on the fence upgrading to N4. Perhaps if AA runs a Black November sale I'll jump on it, but it's interesting to hear your experience about the clouding thing - and also in the light of stacking several instances like one can do with LBX Stripper. Thanks for shar...

Re: Some console comparisons

Unless there is some way to set the buffer per instance? I mean there is virtually no manual for this thing so how the hell am I supposed to know? Yes, i have a separate nebulas. Re: Ebony is out!

VNXT is an alternative for a 140 plate. It's big/fat/deep, but blends a little less with the sound. It announces itself more, not in a fake, disjointed way like many algorithmic reverbs but it's just so... Obvious-sounding. Great when you're going for an effect. Ebony's verb seems a bit more lean a...

Re: More cores vs clock speed?

Thanks but there is a lot of stuff on that thread with some conflicting info. Some say cores some say clock speed. Can anyone here confirm what is more important for nebula, clock speed or core count? Thanks The rabbit hole can go pretty deep on this stuff. And there might be stones to overturn tha...
