Re: Transient loss

I picked up the 76D set and am trying to follow this thread, but I don't have a very technical mind and it's getting very confusing, haha! Can someone maybe post screenshots of the tweaked Kern and Mast pages, so thick-headed people like myself can easily do the mod? Also, what's the verdict, should...

Re: AlexB - 76D PRO : Dynamics Collection by Fet comps !!!

Potentially dumb question here - does it make sense to use this in conjunction with the UAD 1176, so that you get color from the AlexB, but the actual compression from the UAD?

I just logged on to the forum for the first time in over a month to post the very same thing - have things slowed down, or what?

Just bought and installed this and am doing a couple quick tests on old mixes. So far I'm impressed with the sound - great job AITB team!

Re: Important Announcement From CDSoundMaster

I just wanted to verify if the following is a Bug or a Demo Limitation with VTM-M2. - In Cubase 5.5.2 if I set-up a signal chain (R2R + TB+ VTM-M2), and press Save Preset As (in Cubase), the Plugin resets itself (actually as soon as I click on the icon to access the Save Preset Menu) . - If I loop ...

Re: Vocal Doubler

The secret to getting a good doubling effect, aside from a short delay, is to get a bit of random pitch shifting/flanging. Need to keep it subtle, though.

Re: OwnHammer.com New Release! - 412-GTR SLM V30-1

Any idea when you will be releasing the bass cabs? Really could use them! :) . Judging by the release schedule I have up on the News page (most recent entry), I'm going to unofficially say starting some time in March? Just an educated guess though as I have a LOT of simultaneous projects going on r...

Is the free sample library still available? Every time I try to download it, I get an "internal server error" screen. Would love to check this library out before purchasing.

Re: OwnHammer Impulses - Speaker Cabinets now available!

Kevin,
You should consider doing a bass cab impulse, too - I bet you could blow away the cab sims from the IKM AmpegSVX, which a lot of us use on our DI'd bass tracks.

Re: OwnHammer Impulses - Speaker Cabinets now available!

Thanks for the Nebula price drop, OwnHammer - will definitely be purchasing an impulse soon!

UPDATE: Bought the 4x12 Mesa w/V30-1 - testing it out now on some old mixes - sounds great so far!

Re: analoginthebox...are they still in business?

Let's not go there. We're not talking about multi billion businesses here, but about a bunch of good guys that are offering us the cream of the equalizers at a symbolic price. I don't have a problem with the AITB guys personally - they seem like nice people and they make a great product - but I do ...

Re: analoginthebox...are they still in business?

Indeed, but if we're talking about a "business" here, they have incredibly low prices for top notch products, so I would be more forgiving and grateful even if I'll have to wait a week after spending the ridiculous 10 euros expense for a 3500$ eq library. Wow...I suppose you'd be cool if some other...
