Re: Magenta 3 this friday

Come on, folks. It's been a while Magenta 3 is out and everybody knows it has some issues. For me the biggest one is the 18KHz not being able to function as a shelf eq. Something very weird happens if you try to boost it when in shelve mode. Anyway at least a bug fix should've come soon. I am an ent...

Re: Your Nebula Workflow

For me, as a new user as well, what is working nice is to put a console channel in each track. I only check the gain staging and then I do a fader levelling to get a raw picture of the song. Doing that I check to see if any track require another "first stage" processing, like tape or any colour prea...

Re: Render track in Reaper

Man!! Apparently it was the quality set in the mast page, which I had put to 5 (maximum). After returning it to default (1) I now A/B the rendered tracks against the tracks playing "live" with Nebula instances and they are the same. Thank you again for the help. That doubt was killing me  C...

Re: Render track in Reaper

Hey, thanks a lot for your replies. I actually wasn't sure about that mast page change in the quality set. I'll return that back to default (1) and try rendering that again. I just put it to 5 because Nebula manual say something about doing that for rendering. I also use the same render process as d...

Render track in Reaper

Hi, I am new to Nebula. I've been using it for less than a month. Done some research about rendering tracks to put less pressure to CPU processing. Couldn't find proper info that could help me in that regard. I am using Reaper in a mac. My machine is pretty good. Mac mini i7 quad core 16GB RAM. Anyw...

Re: Newbie question about Henry Olonga compressors

Thank you all for the kind replies and explanation. I am getting to know better the way Nebula works day after day. It's being nice to do some tests and learn about it. And the Nebula community here is being very helpful. About the compression behaviour of some presets, yes, I can feel that some of ...

Re: Newbie question about Henry Olonga compressors

Hey folks, thanks for the replies! That's it. Only the "MOJO". I heard from Mr. Olonga himself (by email). The input level I really don't know yet. I'll do some testings here. But there's something going on in the output as it compensates for the g-drive. Anyway, if I go hard with the g-drive in som...

Newbie question about Henry Olonga compressors

Hello all, My first time here in the Nebula forum and can say that after using Nebula for less than a week I am very happy to have chosen it over other plugins. I have the slate VBC as well and think that AlexB console library, for instance, sounds more "analog" than slate's, if you know what I mean...
