Re: Can't get an invoice for my purchase

I had the same problem of not being able to receive ANY invoice for my purchase, even after several mails down the road. I stopped worrying about it and decided to never ever buy anything from you guys again, but this puts it to a whole new level. Your prices are higher for people with a VAT ID ? AR...

Re: Pirates !

a library cracked in a bad way sounds different. A library with malaware inside stops your songs after a while. Why someone should mess with that? They'll never notice it's related to copy protection. It just contributes to a bad image for the nebula platform and a lost potential honest customer: U...

Re: question about AlexB consoles

Keep in mind though that the Panners which come bundled with the consoles are not actual programs of the consoles pan knob. It's rather a sample of a totally unrelated analog panning device which Alex built himself and which has the same pan law as the actual console had. So there's either -4,5 or -...

Re: authorization missing

Here's an emergency fallback if you - like me - tried to press "render" on a very important project on a timeline and then noticed that all 50 nebula instances are set to what the OP wrote (0 Hz, authorization missing etc.) and your mix sounds like crap: - Uninstall nebula - Set back system time to ...

Re: is nebula 5.1 compatibile?

You can definitely use Nebula in surround applications. Need a surround mastering compressor ? Take 3 Nebula instances with the same compressor program open with identical settings (sidechain compatible program). Route all signals to a buss called "Sidechain" (can be stereo) Put the nebulas on the 3...

Hahahaha, RTAS is dead as it seems. AAX all the way ! Good choice to not have invested in a native Nebula RTAS version !

Re: Fairchild 660/670

Dunno. Connect compressor to your ADDA, hit sample. That should be it. If that particular compressor sounds amazing as it is, why touch it before sampling ? People seem to get the impression that you have to completely refurbish any device before you can make a good sounding nebula-program out of it...

Re: S*L panner (4.5 Law)

First, that S*L panner is not a real S*L panner. It is an analog device which Alex built, called "precision analog panner". He modified it to different pan-laws, sampled it and bundled it to the consoles which had that specific pan-law. That's why the panner of the MBC (A*I) is identical to the pann...

Best nebula compressor for me so far in terms of realism ! This is how the Duende is supposed to sound ! Hell yeah !
And your 1176-preview kicks ass, great job, wow.

Re: AlexB - Modern White Dynamics PRO

I think there's no way around a demo. As loyal and supportive as the people may be here: Buying blindly isn't for everybody. Why should it, anyway ? I bought a lot of libraries and I went through all sorts of exceeded expectation and disappointments (not only with Alex's libraries, obviously), even ...

Re: Nebula Marketing Hype - especially eq's and compressors

cactuseskimo, actually you're right in a few spots. The biggest mistake is pretending that everything is perfectly working in nebula. Everyone here is aware that we're all a big paying beta testing team. We all accepted that, given the fact that the plugin is pretty cheap - at least it used to be. B...

Re: AlexB - Modern White Dynamics PRO

Can't wait for the demo presets ! Audio Demos don't tell me much. I have the 4KD and found its audio demo pretty boring. Having bought and used the preset I can say it's brilliant in terms of coloration (better than I expected), but strange in terms of the actual compression - can't get it to sit ri...

Re: Making this forum iPhone friendly - what would you like?

Many websites manage to offer a Android/Smartphome-friendly view (automatically offered, based on browser id), without the need for a dedicated "App", so it can't be a huge problem. Way to go imho !
