Nebula and AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 8 core

Hey Acustica team,

Time is coming to replace my several years old i7 2600k.
I've read good things about the new AMDs...
Do you guys recommend it for Nebula/Acqua on Win10?
Cheers

Navy saturation

Hi everyone, I was trying Navy yesterday and I must say I'm impressed! It sounds punchier and a little more in-your-face than all the competitors (UAD 1073, Sonimus, Slate and Waves) an it's light enough on my CPU. But I have a question: I know about Nebulas limitations regarding gain staging, so, i...

Re: Alexb 4KD not compressing...

Yep, just tried again and no luck.
The only compressor "working" right now is the G2500 demo (I haven't bought the full one yet)
Any ideas?

I think my Nebula lost it's authorization

Hi, I had 1.3.505 (if I'm not mistaken) on my windows partition on my computer (I run nebula mostly on my mac partition) It was working fine until I realized I didn't have NAT installed. So, after a whole BIG mess (installing Nebula 3 FREE, then 3 Pro .601, then Server .601... I've got NAT to work b...

Alexb 4KD not compressing...

Hello everyone, I just tried 4KD GC and couldn't get it to compress the audio... Even if I bring the threshold all the way down, with a fast attack it doesn't really do anything. The sound comes down, the GR meter "says" it's compressing but in the end, if I compensate the level back up, it's not sq...

Re: Gemini Audio Releases G2500!!! - (A*I 2500)

Guys, Can you point me towards the right direction on this: The „EX“, „NC“, „ME“ and „NL“ versions can only be used with Nebula Compressor (Self modified copy of Nebula) and are in HQ by default (using TIMED engine). I remember reading about it back when the whole discussion on Nebula compression ki...

Re: 1.3.600 Pro and Server running fine here (Mac)

I must say I didn't feel that much difference... BUT, I didn't try it a lot either. Like I said, both feel a little less heavy on the CPU and both load programs waaaaaay faster, at least 1/4th of the time. I would say if you don't: - want to run 64bit VST - want to use server to save RAM - want to u...
