Re: Erics gearing up for a nebula 1176

In sidechain mode the compressor won't be triggered by the audio on channels 1 and 2, but by the audio on channels 3 and 4. The channels that are being processed are still channels 1 and 2. I have not tried the sidechain yet, but I will use your programs today. Does this mean that I could create a ...

All Quiet On the Western Front...

Hrmm, I wonder what's cooking. Haven't heard anything on the Nebula front from CDSoundMaster, AnalogInThebox, or VNXT in a while. Any hints guys?

Re: incredible 1.3.498 on the path (Core3 engine)

Wow, Acustica team. I knew this upgrade was special, but for my system (XP - 32bit) it works soo fast! I can load maybe 5 to 10 times as many nebula instances before hiccup, how did you accomplish this? This is very fast!

Console With Most Character?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I could get your opinion on something. I'm looking for a console that is not so "subtle" for use on many individual tracks and busses. Which nebula console, in your opinion has the most character, or changes the sound in the most interesting way? Thanks!

Re: Audio Stuttering with Nebula Reverb - Reverbs

RJHollins,

Thank you, I've had Nebula for over a year but I'm still a newb. Your suggestion worked. I set the buffer to 2048 and saved and that seemed to work. Are there any recommended settings though? Or a way to determine them for my system

Re: Audio Stuttering with Nebula Reverb - Reverbs

Thanks for the reply, I experimented with higher DSP and CNV settings but I still had stuttering, slow and choppy audio and Reaper reported resources being very high.

Audio Stuttering with Nebula Reverb - Reverbs

Hi everyone, I just upgraded from Nebula 3 to Nebula 3 Pro and then updated to 1.3.499g. When I loaded an old song file that had Nebula 3 reverb - and a reverb setting, it caused all audio to stutter very slowly. I reloaded Nebula 3 reverb and the same reverb preset (Demeter spring reverb) and it st...

Re: VNXT EMT Sound Bad?....

Hi Nextaz,

Another vote for 44.1 here. I would honestly take either total resample or proper downsample, I have to mix an album in the next 2 months :) Your reverbs rock!

Re: Germanos EQ Series (N*****n/Siemens/TAB/Telefunken)

Anyone compared the W295b to the one by CDSoundmaster ? To be honest its probably not worth it when Michael's is already available. Sorry to be negative but using Prism conversion and Vovox cables and then setting everything to 44.1khz is a bit silly (as if there is nothing going through these elec...

Re: Wow and flutter for R2R?

Wow & flutter is among my favorite audio effects. The only VST that's come close is the actual "Wow & Flutter" vst. I really wish Nebula could simulate this, but unfortunately I believe there are limits as to how nebula handles the pitch shift. I may be wrong on this. I really wish Nebula could do a...

Re: New Tube Radio package soon, need clips for demos

Very cool, i'm definitely looking for stuff on the more vintage side (50's & 40's) for nebula. I'll see if I have a clip from my band that they'd be okay with me using for a test. Can't wait to see & hear what these sound like!

+1 +1 +1!! This is one of my top requests for Nebula, vinyl impulse, with and without RIAA curve!! Wonder if anyone could Nebul-ize wax cylinders, or blue amberol, old Edison stuff :) That would be a dream.

I have sampled this unit last year and then I have sold it since I don't like it... However I had thought to do a library with DTE and Fah-Tzu ( ) as preamp to color and add harmonics but...
